The Perfect Body Diet is a book by Marcel Diennet MD, founder of the Diennet Institute, a California-based weight loss clinic. The Perfect Diet Book main intention is to help you become more beautiful or handsome by teaching you how to improve your portions and maintain an improved appearance.
The Perfect Body Diet focuses on trying to make you aware of why you put on excess weight in the first place. Then it works on helping you take off those pounds through its slimming treatments and plans.
Rather than promising you that you'll fit into a size two pair of jeans after a few weeks of dieting, The Perfect Body Diet rests on the premise that each of us have our own ideal body weight, the number at which you fell well and at ease so that you lose all complexes about your body. The book includes an involved questionnaire that asks you about your age, medical history, weight loss and gain history, activity level and goal weight.
Based upon your responses to the questionnaire, a diet plan is recommended. In addition, you are encouraged to visit the Diennet's website to become a member and receive even more individualized diet counseling.

- Diet may be hard to follow as a long-term solution to weight loss
- Very restrictive

Based upon your weight loss needs and what initially triggered your weight gain, the Perfect Body Diet helps you understand how your food proportions have influenced your current body status. The Diennet Diet Plan is strict and centers around eating quality food in small portions.
Bread in any form can only be consumed once and before 10 a.m. Additionally, no wine, alcohol and sweets or sugars can be eaten. Fruits coffee and artificial sweeteners are also severely limited in their daily proportions.
You are encouraged to eat small portions of fish, vegetables, cheese and pasta. You are not allowed to snack in between meals.
There is little information on exercise guidelines in The Perfect Body Diet, but the general Diennet Diet Plan does encourage you to exercise regularly in order to reduce stress.
The Perfect Body Diet is based upon Dr. Diennet's Institute and his signature weight loss programs that are designed for women. His weight loss plan promotes portion control while limiting certain foods. In an age where mega portions are a powerful enabling factor in our current obesity epidemic, controlling how much we eat is a needed message. Diennet's Diet Plan is a portion-controlled program for eating nutritious foods in proper quantities.
The book may fall short of its promises that claim to help you get the body of your dreams. It is not a step-by-step guide to weight loss, but it does provide you with some formidable steps to drop a few pounds.

-I usually don't write reviews but since I tried the program I felt it is my duty to WARN others

A friend of mine told me about the Diennet program (AKA DNA Institute). I couldn't find any reviews on-line so I paid $590 (which included the rush shipment) for the 3 month pill supply.
Before joining they had told me they will give me a refund if the diet pills don't work, so I filled out the questionnaire and purchased the pills.
After two weeks I had not lost a pound, so I called them and told them that. After another two weeks they told me to increase my dosage. It's been over two months and I still have NOT lost even a pound! I eat a very healthy low fat diet and I exercise! I stopped drinking alcohol and increased my exercise. Still nothing! I contacted them again.
I have 1/3 of my pills left so I expected the either refund me for the 1/3 or to change out the meds and give me a different dosage.
Do you know what they told me? They said that if I reorder they will give me a discount - reorder something that doesn't work!!!! Why would I spend another $500 on something that is proven not to work on me?
So save your money cause this does not work. Feel free to contact me with questions!

+I found this diet to be less of a diet and more of a lifestyle plan, which I feel works to it's advantage in that you don't feel like you're on restriction therefore you're less likely to cheat. Plenty of fruits, vegeatables and proteins to choose from and snacking between meals makes this diet ideal. I don't feel hungry since there are 3 meals and 3 snacks on a daily basis. It's working for me so far.
