In addition to being a soccer great and underwear model, David Beckham can now add chef to his repertoire of professions. In an effort to encourage kids to eat healthier, in combination with Go3, a food manufacturer, Beckham has launched his own line of healthy food that includes pasta, wraps, omelets and fish sticks.

As a dad of three young boys, he understands the frustration that parents go through to get their kids to eat fruits and veggies. Even though sandwich wraps don’t sound like kid-friendly food, they are loaded with greens, veggies and other healthy ingredients that have been stealthily added to each of his signature dishes. The meals also contain omega-3 fatty acids and whole wheat, both of which are commonly absent in most pre-packaged processed kids food.

I really enjoyed the meals. However Tesco seem to have stopped stocking them! Typical of Tesco!

I bought 2 meals in Tesco, the omelette and the sweet & sour chicken noodle pot. Both tasted awful. I would not buy again. They may have David Beckham on the cover but they still taste no better than a regular cheap micro meal. I cannot see many children liking these meals.
