Dr. Natura, cleansing system is a detoxification program that can help you reduce constipation, bloating fatigue and skin problems while boosting your energy levels and giving you a flatter stomach. Under the philosophy that “death begins in the colon,” Dr. Natura’s cleansing system is meant to rid your body of toxins that develop over time from the air we breathe, the foods we eat and the general lifestyle byproducts that we are exposed to on a daily basis.
Using a two-pronged approach of cleansing and detoxification, Dr. Natura’s cleansing system uses Colonix products which cleanses your digestive tract of unwanted toxins, eliminates parasites and candida and promotes regularity. The second part of the program uses Toxinout, another product which removes heavy metals from your body, detoxifies the organs, replenishes healthy bacteria and rejuvenates the immune system.
The entire system uses more than 100 natural products to deliver one of the most thorough detoxification products on the market today. The entire Dr. Natura cleansing system takes approximately 90 days to complete over which time you are adhering to a strict and outlined schedule of taking supplement and consuming a fiber-based beverage. It is estimated that you can lose a few to 20 pounds while following this cleansing program.

Colonix contains an extensive ingredient list for each of the three products that comprise the treatment. One of the products is a powder and the other two are capsules. The primary ingredients are with psyllium husk, flax seed, fennel seed, licorice root, aloe vera, and peppermint leaf.
The Toxinout treatment also includes three distinct products, all of which are capsules. The capsules contain a variety of vitamins and minerals as well as ginseng, amino acids, probiotics, spirulina, wheat grass, barely grass, green tea extract and enzymes.
The Colonix treatment involves taking 2-4 capsules a day, one half to one full scoop of fiber powder once a day and one cup of a special tea once each evening. The fiber powder can be mixed in juice or in a smoothie.
The Toxinout treatment involves taking 7-9 capsules each day with either lunch or dinner.
Although no particular diet or exercise routine is needed for Dr. Natura’s program to work; eating healthy foods is always a good idea. A diet containing plenty of organic fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds complements this program very well. Try to avoid or minimize red meats, cured meats, organ meats, refined foods, canned foods, sugar, salt, saturated fats, coffee, alcohol, food additives, colorings and preservatives, as well as nicotine while cleansing.
If you experience headaches or other discomfort, it is recommended to drink peppermint herbal tea.
Dr. Natura’s cleansing products are designed to help rid your body of toxic buildup and promote regularity. The two primary treatments are the Colonix and Toxinout programs which can be used separately or together. Each of these treatments includes a strict and comprehensive schedule of consuming teas, fiber powders and/or capsules over a one-month to three-month time period. Even though the manufacturer’s of the product state that these supplements don't carry harsh and uncomfortable side effects like other detoxification programs do, side effects can still be expected.
The ingredients used in all of the Dr. Natura products are natural. As with any unregulated dietary supplement, it is best to speak with your medical doctor before using it. Pregnant and nursing women should not use any of the Dr. Natura’s products.

It may be a lifestyle change, as you say, but does it have serious side-effects? One would imagine that detoxification could have issues with eating disorders and the like, or at least I would. I'm personally thinking about doing so myself, but I need that little push.

2 comments: 1. under "cons" it reads " May remove beneficial and necessary bacteria and flora from the body " but part of the kit is a very powerful probiotic to replenish the bacteria & flora. 2. Donna: if your fiance didnt drink enough water AND only did a one month cleanse, it may not have been enough. I did 6 weeks before I had a serious cleanse. This is NOT a "quick fix", it is a lifestyle change, and used properly is an effective detoxifier & cleanser. I have been using Dr. Natura for 3 years now (once a year now for 2-3 months) and LOVE it!!

-I bought this with the hopes it would help my fiancee. His belly protruded like he was pregnant even though he was not fat. He also has chronic constipation. This is very expensive and the "powder" that you mix with water is like gravel and dirt. It does not disolved and it will make you gag. My fiancee followed it faithfully for a month and nothing changed. He ended up impacted and the doctors said he had a reaction to too much fiber.... Needless to say he stopped taking it. What a waste!!!!

+this is not a diet. it's a colon health therapy. I did the whole thing and I never felt better in my life. I still take the fiber 4 or 5 times per week, and occasionally drink the tea. could actually taste the metals leaving my body. highly recommend. web site is WILD. must go look at what comes out....seariously.
