Eyton's F2 Diet is not just a plan that helps you lose weight but it also seeks to detoxify your body and clear your mind. Applying the same principles as the F-Plan diet, the F2 focuses on eating foods that help your body to burn fat while also clearing up chronic and pesky health conditions like mood swings, constipation, headaches and fatigue.

?How many grams of fibre in the soups and salads? The advice says aim for 40 gms of fibre per day, but does not say how much fibre is in the soups or salads, so not sure how you calculate what you are consuming if you don't follow one of the suggested menus.

+On day 5 of my second time on the FFP. Lost 7 lbs, my puffy/bloated belly are almost gone. It totally encourages you to exercise because you feel so good! Thanks to the journal, I hope to remind myself for years to come how GREAT I feel, so much energy with no caffine. Yes, the no Vino is def. hard, but I allowed myself a cpl of small glasses-gotta keep it real! I highly recommend it!

+The recipes are delicious and healthy. I like to make enough of one of the soups or salads for a week and then store it in tubs to bring to work each day along with some fruit. The lentil cranberry salad and sweet potato soup are my favorites.

I think this is a great book - no silly celeb fads - just honest to goodness down to earth advice and recipes. I don't agree that it's expensive - you can choose high fibre foods that don't cost the earth and use them in the recipes. The soups and salad recipes are especially good, high in fibre and tasty too. Excellent if you are trying to cut down on a high fat diet or if you're just trying to lose a little weight and feel healthier.

just started on this, the comedown from a high fat/sugar diet is making me a little lothargic, but the soup recipies are actually delicious, i always thought diet food had to be tasteless and non filling, i was mistaken, my digestion has sped up considerably wich isnt a bad thing in my opinion, the book states to ease into the high fibre diet so a full bore strict diet is not recommended.

-for those of us who do not usually consume a lot of fibre, this diet really wreaks havoc with your digestive tract. it does what it says on the cover, by flushing out all toxins and such, but it's at the cost of any normal feeling with your insides the entire time, and some time after you're on the diet. u'll find that you're much more aware that your body is flushing itself out (quite literally) and this coupled with horrific trapped wind and uncomfortable and unbearable flatulance left me feeling quite bruised. it's worth taking a few notes from this book to use alongside a normal healthy eating and exercising lifestyle, but i really would only stick to the 'hardcore' of this diet for a very short period of time as the discomfort it brings can be really uncomfortable
