Jenny Craig Silver is a weight loss meal-delivery plan for older adults. Designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of the senior population, like a slower metabolism but an increased need for key minerals like calcium, Jenny Craig Silver is uniquely created to make sure those who are older than 50 are at a healthy weight and can meet their nutritional requirements.
The Jenny Craig Silver plan features fiber-rich and low-fat meals that are lower in calories than most meal-delivery plans but rich in certain vitamins and minerals. Members can select from up to 80 meals and snacks as well as add their store-bought produce and low-fat dairy.
The plan also includes an exercise program and a weekly phone-call with a Jenny Craig consultant as well as access to online tools like a progress tracker, activity log and food journal.
You can expect to lose 1-2 pounds each week following the Jenny Craig Silver program.

STAY AWAY FROM JENNY CRAIG...I was on it for 2 months when suddenly i developed a heart arythmia. My cardiologist asked me if I was on any diet...I told him I was on JC .... he told me to STOP IMMEDIATELY..that the food and the diet was the cause of my illness. It is a bad diet and the food is loaded with preservatives, fillers, etc...It lacked essential vitamins and minerals that caused my medical problem. I had the doctor write a note to Jenny Craig letting then know about this problem..and they neglected to listed and understand. They could care LESS! Everyone! from the consultant, to the Manager at the Garden City location and Corporate! I will never ever recommend this diet to anyone, and furthmore any doctor will tell you to stay away; that Weight Watchers is the better choice..the healthier choice.
posted Mar 11th, 2010 6:42 pmYou might lose weight , but you will certainly gain it all back when you get off it..because certainly not only is it so expensive, but there's no way anyone could tolerate the food for an extended period of time! The counselors have a quota to meet to SELL! That's all they care about is making money...DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCHEME! they are VERY FRAUDULENT and if you're desperate to lose weight...there are many other options!!!!
