I am a 27 weighting in at 254lbs 5??7. Today I started taking Phentermine. My ideal weight for now is 200lbs by Jan but long term would be around 170. I already drink a lot of water (at least a gallon a day) and excise 3x a week; my down fall is that I do eat whatever I want. I am a diabetic so I don??t eat a lot of sweets its more of soul food that I love. So I was wondering if there is advice that anyone can give me on what else I need to do.

I started mine on sept 18 and lost 9 pounds in the first 10 days. I'm losing slower now but have lost a total of 20 pounds as of today. I take 30 mg once a day. I get a little bit hungry in the afternoon and eat an apple, that seems to be enough to hold me until supper. I have been writing down all food I eat and the calories. I have lowered my caloric intake to around 800-900 a day. I just can't eat that much anymore. I recommend sticking with it and watching what you eat. Good Luck to all!

It makes you not hungry with a ton of energy. You will not be able to sleep or eat. Your heart will beat fast. It's exactly like being on speed. You will become tolerance will increase and after awhile it won't work anymore. I suggest taking the smaller dosage at first every other day then increase as time goes by. Don't buy online from different countries it is fake. I can't find a Dr that will prescribe to me. They all say it's really bad for you and I can't afford to go to a diet clinic. The nock offs like Phentramine don't work the same and beware if you order it sometimes they automatically keep sending it to you and charging your credit card. >:( I lost 60lbs in 6 months with it. It motivated me to excersize and not eat.

I am 48 years old today. I had a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago and gained 70 lbs. I have tried every diet and I exercise 3 to 5 times a week. I weighed 200.8 pounds last week when I saw my Dr. and got a perscription for Phentermine. I started it on 9/18 and I don't have much of an appetite anymore(I have to make myself eat) and I have all kinds of energy. I weigh 197 pounds today! That's 3 pounds in 3 days! I love this stuff! I am finally starting to get back on track(I needed a jump-start). I also started to measure all of my food and I write down everything that I put in my mouth and how many calories. I eat less than 1000 calories a day now. Good luck to everyone else!

I am 25 years old with 3 kids ages: 5,2, and 3 months. Before children my weight was between 165-170 and now im 235.6 pounds. I couldnt take it any more!!! So I started phentermine on 9/1/2010 weighing 235.6 and now as of today(which is not even a whole week) 9/6/2010 I weigh 225.3 pounds!!! WOW!!!! I've lost 10 pounds in 5 days! My goal is to lose a total of 50 pounds and I am so happy that this pill has worked for me. I dont crave food at all. Sometimes I forget to eat so I just grab a fruit or a small salad from mcdonald's. :) Its strange to go from a SUPER SIZED BIG MAC COMBO to a small salad and water. But I absolutely love it!!!

I am 39 years old. I started phentermine on 2/12/10 and weighed 229 (ht 5'6). Today (9/2/10) I weigh 168. A total of 61 pounds lost. I also belong to OA (overeaters anonymous) and have expressed to others how much this pill has saved my life. I am a new person now and love life. I no longer live for food, I live to live. I have read all the good and bad about this drug. This drug has been out since 1959. Honestly, if it was all the bad that is being said, why is it still around 61 years later.

I started taking phentermine two-three months ago and i have lost 20lbs. i think it works, and i've also gained muscle due to my consistency in strenght training. the only downside is that my doctors have hesitated me to take it every time i'm ready for a refill in my prescription. it makes me upset because i work out and eat healthy on a daily basis. its changed my life and i'm still in need of losing weight. i'm at 170 lbs now when i started i was almost 190lbs which is very scary. i hope that doctors begin to understand that most patients do not want to stay on phentermine but need it to reach their goal and implement a healthy diet lifestyle.

I am 19 years old mother of one, 5'2 and started phetermine at 164 lbs. 18 months after having my son. I've only been on it for exectly one week now. I have never eaten breakfast but started eating lean cuisiens* for lunch and dinner. Nothing else besides that, ad drinking only water, and fast walk .5 miles a day and do an 8 min abs tape. In this week I have lost 4 lbs, 1.1% body fat, and gained .8% water(due to how much water I drink). But over all I am very happy. In lbs I haven't lost alot, but I can now fit very comfortably in a pair of pants I could barely button at the start of this week. =) I can tell I gained muscle weight too, anther reason why I didn't loose so much acording to the scale.

I love Phentermine! I am only on day 3 and I have already lost 8lbs!!!!! And that's without exercise!!!! For the first time in my adulthood, I am not constantly obsessed with food.

I am able to do important things and fun things because instead of binging several times a day, my appetite in practically non existent.

Starting today, I plan to incorporate exercise into my routine. Light walking some days and aerobic/weight training classes on other days. Altogether, I plan to workout 5 times a week.

I'm 23, 5'3, and I weigh 192. I would like to get down to 120 at this rate, I'll be there by October!
