The StreetStrider, developed in conjunction with NBC's hit reality show "The Biggest Loser," is a mobile elliptical bike that combines a jogging, biking, skiing and elliptical workout into one workout device.
The StreetStrider can be used on any hard surface like a paved road, sidewalk or paved hiking trail. The device has three wheels which are situated on a sturdy platform, two foot skis, which position the legs, and two ski pole-like handle bars. The brakes are on the handle bars and there are eight gears to shift back and forth, depending upon the gradient of the ground you are traveling over.
The device only moves in forward motion as you work your legs and arms, giving you a total cardio and strength conditioning workout.
The StreetStrider can be purchased online or from select retailers or distributors.

Using streetstrider now @ 7 miles a day during the week and 20 miles a day during the week end, I have met and exceeded my goals. I am at 216 lbs and 16% body fat. I may go to 200, but I want to keep a healthy balance for my bone structure. I currently am at a 35 waist, which is a far cry from the 54 waist on Dec. 17th 2009. Ihave lost 125 lbs using the Streetstrider and a well planned low carb high protein diet with vitamins. I now am up to 1750 calories a day and 1000 carbs, with an intake of 144 oz. of fluid / day to make up for water loss in this insatiable Texas heat in the afternoons when working out on the Streetstrider. On a cool morning I have done a full marathon in 86 mminutes using the streetstrider, avg 18.6 mph. Not bad for 58 yrs old.

+Dec. 17th I was 341 lbs. I bought two Streetstrider ETX 8R 's, one for me and one for my wife. Throuhg diet and excercise I am now 220 lbs. I have lost 121 lbs in 6 months, with no unsightly loose skin , and have effectively readsorbed the mass, by working from the core out. I am 57 years old, and am trying for 15% total body fat, and 200 lbs. Anyone can reach their goals If they only try, focus and realize what they need to change. If you are not willing to allow change, then you will most probably fail. thanks Strrestrider
