BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

If this was enough that Gwyneth Paltrow needed to get in shape after giving birth to two children, then it will probably work for you as well.

Pint-sized trainer, Tracy Anderson has helped some of Hollywood's hottest bodies develop tiny, lean and sleek muscles. From Shakira to Courteney Cox, the Tracy Anderson method is one of the most sought-after fitness plans for Hollywood's elite.

And since many of these A-list celebrities are also moms, they feel a tremendous amount of pressure to lose that baby weight pronto and get back into their red carpet-ready physique.

Tracy Anderson, who herself gained 50 pounds during her pregnancy, has created a post pregnancy workout DVD for any new mom, whether your name is splashed across gossip magazines or not, to help you get in shape and lose that baby weight as soon as your doc gives you the clear to start working out again.

The Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy Workout DVD targets those muscles and areas that require the most toning and slimming down following pregnancy. Plus, it can be done from home making it a great and convenient way to sneak in fitness time while your new baby naps.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

The Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy Workout DVD is about 45-minutes long. It features a combination of abdominal work and arm and glutes exercises.

Known for using no greater than a three-pound weight, all of the exercises can be done with small and light weights or no weights at all.

Planks, lunges, squats and pikes are just a few of the exercises you'll perform. There is no cardio component since the main focus of the workout DVD is to hone in on those areas that became a little softer and bigger during pregnancy. The exercises are therefore heavy on the abdominal, leg and butt work and much lighter on heart-thumping workouts.

While the exercises aren't as intense as childbirth, you are sure to break a sweat and get in a quality total body workout.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Whether you've had a baby or you simply want to slim down your middle and get a leaner body, The Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy Workout DVD is a challenging, yet not impossible, workout DVD designed to give you the lean and compact muscles that is Anderson's signature style.

If you're at home with a new baby, haven't yet lost that baby weight or simply want to slenderize your body, The Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy Workout DVD might be just the at-home workout video for you.

Amy, I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. Have a very happy and safe New Year!I sehraced this site but could find no way of contacting you. Yesterday, on the eHarlequin board a posted a note regarding the fact that recent HPs are full of errors with regards to the proper use of I versus me. It is a simple rule in English but for whatever reason both the authors and the editors are misusing I. Part of it stems from the fact that people used to use me all the time even when I was warranted

Yesterday, on the eHarlequin board a posted a note regarding the fact that recent HPs are full of errors with regards to the proper use of I versus me. It is a simple rule in English but for whatever reason both the authors and the editors are misusing I. Part of it stems from the fact that people used to use me all the time even when I was warranted. Now it seems that the opposite is true. People are trying to be correct and keep using I instead of me. I think this is something that can be very easily corrected. I hope that you will read my post on the eHarlequin boards and then present this information to the editors so that they can do something about it. Thanks!

It's nice to have a personal trainer, but we all know we can borrow the ideas and apply them ourselves--although when I've used a trainer, I have to admit, it's been the disciplined exercise calendar I was really paying for. When they showed up, I did the work.
