DIET and NUTRITION
The eating plan that you will have access to encourages clean-eating. This means eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and eliminating processed foods. There are three main components to the clean-eating diet that is suggested with the Yoga Bootcamp program. That consists of grains, proteins and fruits and veggies. Your grains should be minimally processed and the proteins you eat should be prepared in a healthy way. You will eat about 1600 calories each day with a breakdown of 40 percent carbohydrates, 30 percent protein and 30 percent fat. You are also encouraged to eat three meals each day along with up to two snacks. A sample menu that you may see on the clean-eating meal plan is reflected below:
Breakfast: 1 serving Banana Bread Oatmeal; 1 cup skim milk or fat-free soy milk
Lunch: 1 Caprese Sandwich; 2-3 cups green salad topped with ½ cup garbanzo beans and 1 tbsp. fat free dressing
Snack: 2 tbsp. Baked Lentil Snacks; 1 cup raw veggie slices; 1 fresh fruit; 1 string cheese
EXERCISE
The Yoga Bootcamp program focuses heavily on the cardio yoga exercises you will be doing to see results. These workouts offer you leaner muscles, increased strength and will help transform your body in just 28 days. Each Yoga Bootcamp set comes with two separate DVDs that each have two workouts. The workouts are broken out for specific muscle groups. Each workout 40 minutes because they include a combination of yoga and cardio work. You will be able to access your 28-day workout calendar so that you know what workouts to do each day.
