For some of us, yoga seems like a workout that only the young, flexible, and already-in-shape can pursue. If you fall into this group, Peggy Cappy is here to tell you that you can, in fact, practice yoga and you will probably even enjoy it.
In Yoga for the Rest of Us with Peggy Cappy, Peggy claims that "you don't need to be thin, young, and a contortionist to do this program," and she's right. This video was created for people who are not very flexible, are older, or who experience aches and pains.
This workout video contains three 20-minute routines that can be done separately or together as a group to create a longer and more in-depth workout. The first workout contains warm-up seated stretches to help you become more flexible and prepare for the following workouts. The second workout is a combination of standing poses to increase your strength and stability. The third workout focuses on Sun Salutations to build your stamina.
Peggy is a great teacher and guides you through each step of the workouts. However, if what Peggy is doing is too difficult for you, some of her students also do modified versions of the yoga poses and you can follow along with these students at the level that is comfortable for you. This makes it easy to personalize the poses to get the most of the workout.

+I've been meaning to get into Yoga, but it always looked kind of hard and out there...this looks simple, basic...a good introduction to a way to feel and look better, could be just what I need.
