Apples and Oranges on the Grapefruit Diet?

I started this diet 4 days ago and I've a question. Is it permitted to eat fruits like apple or orange?
please help me

i read that grapefruit puts you at a higher risk of getting breast cancer. go to Dr. Weil's web sight and look it up. I am being treated for breast cancer and my med's made me gain 15 pounds. i am going to try this with other fruit.

No you can't have any fruits at all. Fruits have natural sugars that is permitted for this diet. The grapefruit diet is basically meats and veggies or salad. No sugar, bread, or starches.
