Could being on The Biggest Loser have prevented Roulon from competing in the Olympics?

Why I thought Roulon really quit BL -- Has anyone thought that maybe the reason he quit when he did was because if he had "won" or even appeared on the finale that this would forfeit him from going back to the Olympics? I remember he was saying that he was at his Olympic weight and for him, that was all he needed. Just my 2 cents worth.
