The recommended amount of weight loss that is considered healthy and safe is two pounds per week. So in 28 days you could presumably lose 8 pounds, which is a terrific start! To do so you'll need to burn more calories than you're consuming, creating a calorie deficit. Consistent exercise most days of the week that involves cardio and strength training, as well as a balanced diet made up of 3 meals and two snacks each day is ideal. This diet should include whole grains (quinoa, brown rice, whole grain bread), lean proteins (ground turkey, chicken breasts, salmon fillets), fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of water, and even healthy fats (olive oil, avocado).
