Weight Watchers is one of the most flexible weight loss plans out there. You certainly have nothing to be nervous about. You and your counselor, or via the online program, will determine your target PointsPlus value for each day and you'll eat within that. You can eat nearly anything you want, you just can't go over if the goal is to lose weight. Oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with a side salad or vegetable soup for lunch, and grilled salmon with choice of fresh vegetables and brown rice for dinner would be a great example.

I feel that weight watchers has abandoned its old members in some ways. I have been a lifetime member for years, and found in following the new plan that I am gaining weight. I just canceled my online subscription today, and feel that now I don't have any support. I appreciate the message ww is trying to make staying away from processed foods, but I never ate processed foods that were low points. Please bring the old program back!

I tried it for 1 month and stopped because I lost nothing. I think the problem is with the new program. It seemed I was eating as much or more than I had been before, i.e. the points were too high. Also, fruit is "free" which allows you to eat high sugar fruit and then use your points on other things. In sum, you are just eating too much. I was so disappointed as I really expected more out of weight watchers. It's a pity they don't have their old plan anymore---I think I would have lost weight on momentum.

I love the new plan, but I am new to WW. I have lost 10 pounds in the last 10 days. My husband & I joined together, got the apps - which we love - and are busy "working the plan." I feel that we are learing to make better choices as a life long plan. We needed to change our wanton food ways & this is just the tool. We log before we eat & often find ourselves not willing to trade nutrition for hollow calories that feed the appetite but do not satisfy the physical body. Our cravings are disappearing with each good/wise choice we make. We have come to the point of understanding that this is not a diet - they do not work. This is a life change to which we are both committed. That's a novel idea for the both of us.

Did the "old" points program when it was first introduced and lost 30 pounds. After going off program, regained the weight over the last 10 years. Started the new PP program almost 4 weeks ago and have dropped 15 pounds. I eat all of my daily points and do not limit fruit. I find that I make better choices with the revised program. You can eat whatever you want; just stay within your point values.
