what salad dressings are okay? should they be sugar free too?

The best store bought salad dressing would be Light Balsamic vinegrette. Or, why don't you just make your own? You can mix, a bit of olive oil or extra-virgin olive oil, lemon, juice, salt, and pepper. Very delicious.
