Many fairs have best pickle contests, and we wouldn't want to discourage you from tasting the winner. Although pickles are high in sodium, they're very low calorie. One cup of pickle has only 17 calories. They're also a good source of vitamin A.

We do suggest that you skip the Kool-Aid pickles.
