Most Popular Diets for 2011

Number 1: The 17 Day Diet

For the first time in the four years we've been publishing our Most Popular Diets of the Year list, the number one spot does not go to Weight Watchers. Instead, newcomer 17 Day Diet swept the title without giving them a fighting chance. The originally self-published book debuted in late 2010 to demanding enthusiasm, thanks to early appearances by author Dr. Mike Moreno on Dr. Phil and The Doctors.

In spring 2011, Dr. Mike sold the book to Simon and Schuster, and a second printing brought the total sales up to one million copies. Supplement titles including a Spanish version and a workbook have helped to maintain interest in the book. A cookbook is in the works for spring 2012.

Check out Whole 30, there should be no diet involved, just raw, natural eating. You end up finding out that standard supermarkets are worthless markets filled with toxins.

I lost over 70 pounds on this diet and am going for the last 30 pounds. In about 6 months or less. This was an AWESOME, easy diet. In fact, it didn't feel like a diet at all. Changed my eating habits for good. LOVE IT!

Just healthy eating! I lost 29lbs in 51 days. Got a little crazy over the holidays, gained 5lbs back. Started on Cycle 2 of the 17 day diet 2 days ago and have already lost 3lbs.
