Medifast made an impressive jump in to the top five this year, but they've been a mainstay on our Most Popular Diet list since its inception. Medifast maintains popularity amongst the weight loss surgery crowd, because of its soft- and liquid-diet components, but has provided legitimate weight loss for those cutting pounds without surgery. The diet, made of a variety of soups, shakes, puddings, oatmeal, and more, makes pre-surgery weight loss possible and eases recovery as these patients learn a completely new way of eating.
While breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided through shelf-stable packages shipped monthly, dinner is handled by the dieter themselves. It's called a Lean and Green Meal and consists of lean protein and vegetables of choice - like grilled salmon with a spinach salad and asparagus.

+This program was the easiest program I have done to lose weight. Nothing else worked for me in the past. I wasn't hungry and I had a lot of energy. I lost 35 lbs and have kept it off for 4 years now.

+This program does not require will power. Yay! I lost 70 lbs. in 7 months and went from a size 20 to a size 8. It changed my life!
