We gasped at the sight of the ingredients list in Kraft's macaroni and cheese, which contained more than 25 ingredients including medium chain triglycerides and yellow 5 and 6. It was hardly a fair match up between Kraft and Annie's - Annie's was the clear winner in this category.

Ingredients: Too many to list (about 26 in total) but in short: whey, milk protein concentrate, milk fat, salt, medium chain triglycerides, palm oil corn syrup solids, sodium tripolyphosphate, calcium phosphate, yellow 5, yellow 6, citric acid, lactic acid and enzymes.

Nutrition: 1 cup prepared contains 259 calories, 3 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 48 g carbs, 561 mg sodium, 10 mg cholesterol, 1 g fiber, 7 g sugar, 11 g protein
