The Dr. Seuss Diet

Whether you eat your bread with the butter on top or on the bottom, the calories count the same. However, if you're going to butter your bread, we suggest doing it with real, unsalted butter and using a single slice of whole grain bread. An even more heart healthy approach would be dipping a whole grain bread in just a little bit of olive oil. The best option of all would be foregoing the bread basket altogether and opting for grains like rice or quinoa on the side.
