About Me:

I'm 55 yrs young. Contracted Diabetes at the age of 49 and have been on meds since. My weight has slowly increased, which the dr says is normal with the meds I'm on, even with exercise and watching my diet. So she gave me a sample, and I plan on trying it.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • losing 60 pounds
  • going to the gym more
  • stay healthy for my daughter

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

since I was in my 30's.

My favorite healthy food:

celery, bell pepper, apples, peaches

My guiltiest pleasure:

pizza and mexican food

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I'd like to get off medication, and be healthy for my daughter, along with getting in a small size!

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Drinking my quota of water daily
  • taking stairs when I can
  • exercising
  • eating my biggest meal at lunch

My favorite activity at the gym is:

ellipical and machines

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • getting to retirement age!
  • my daughter
