About Me:

I am soon to be 65 and I have always been overweight. I have Diabetes, high blood pressure and high chorlestrol. My family has a history of heart trouble. I have lost and gained hundreds of pounds over the years. I had my stomach stapled 30 years ago and have been able to keep 50 lbs of that weight loss off. I feel hungry all the time. If I am awake I am eating. I have little self esteem. Do you think you will be able to help me?

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.
  • Control my Diebetes

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

Since I was a child. Always shy in my younger years because of it.

My favorite healthy food:

Popcorn, Raw vegies, Apples, Bananas

My guiltiest pleasure:

Tons of popcorn. Sweets and salty things.

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I no longer want to be dependent on medications.

I want to be able to enjoy my retirement years.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Carry healthy snacks
  • Walk more than just for my dogs.
  • Try to golf more often than once a week in the summer.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

When I go I like walking on the treadmill.

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Mintaining a 4.0 on the few college classes I took.
