About Me:

I'm 41 years old. I was super skinny until about 11 years ago, when I quit smoking, partying (a form of excercise in my eyes...dancing all night 3-4 nights /week), and started working full time. This lead to eating habits that are quick foods....like canned and frozen or take-out. I also noticed I started eating before bed. ALOT...like a whole bowl of buttered /salted popcorn, or a half a bag of Doritos, etc. I'm almost at 200 lbs now and I'm 0.1 away from being diabetic. I breath heavy just to walk up a couple of flights of stairs, and I am tired all the time. I want to get my weight down and feel better, now that my life is on the right track and I love Jehovah.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle
  • Lose 45 lbs
  • Being more active...like involved in a sport.

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

11 Years, since I quit smoking and partying.

My favorite healthy food:

Avacado, Greek Yogurt, Whole grain pasta,
Pistachios, Blueberries, Spinach

My guiltiest pleasure:

Chocolate, Theatre Popcorn, Fast Food, Baked Goods - ALL kinds. Dairy Products like cheese, chocolate milk, ice-cream.

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

My son tells me he is proud of me.
I want to feel good in my clothes.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Work out a gym 3-4 times a week.
  • Find something positive to say about myself every day.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

TRX, inclines on Treadmill, Zumba

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Being a Witness of Jehovah
  • My son
  • Eliminating bad people
