About Me:

I have three gorgeous children and a wonderful husband. Walking is not much of an option for me because I am in a wheelchair most of the time. I do work out nearly every day because I was taught things that I can do my my physical therapist. I was in full physical therapy for ten years and another ten on half. I thank God that I was given that opportunity. The car accident that sent me to this chair happened when I was 17 and I refused to be a disabled person at heart.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Maintaining a heathy weight and lifestyle.
  • Giving up my addiction to Diet Pepsit

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I feel comfortable with my weight most of the time, I just need to keep up with my exercise ritual and sometimes that is hard. When I do get to feeling fat I work hard to not let it get me down and just get back on schedule.

My favorite healthy food:

Green beans! LOL I also love yogurt, hummus, apples, and whole grain pasta. I just love salads!

My guiltiest pleasure:

Diet soda! Oh how I love my Diet Pepsi!

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

My dad was huge when I was growing up and when he lost the weight it inspired me to be healthy for me and my family. He was about 400 pounds and is now about 165 and has been for at least 5 years!

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Doing my physical therapy at least 4x a week.
  • Walking when ever I am able.
  • Drinking water, carrying it with me helps the most.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

The bike! I cannot ride a regular bike so when I get to ride the stationary ones I just love it! Water aerobics are the very best for me....I love that you don't feel sweaty!

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Accomplishing every goal I have in life!
