Ruby is Back on Style Network March 6 [INTERVIEW]

Fans of the hit reality TV show “Ruby” have waited more than a year to see what is next in life of their favorite weight loss story, and on March 6, 2024, that wait is over. Ruby Gettinger returns to Style Network for her fourth season of “Ruby,” a series chronicling a journey that began at 715 pounds and has seen her lose hundreds of pounds with the help of Hourglass Weight Loss, trainers, nutritionists, therapists, and the invaluable support and love from friends and family.

We had a chance to speak with Ruby about what she’s been up to and what we can expect in the new season. She talks about the harsh confrontation from her friends, in which they were “brutally honest.” She also opens up about her relationship with Rosie O’Donnell, someone she calls a supporter and friend. You’ll also hear Ruby talk about the 60 pounds she’s gained, saying “This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It opened my eyes that part of me is in denial.”

In past seasons we’ve witnessed Ruby celebrate her weight loss milestones by fitting in to her first pair of jeans, driving a car and even riding on a bike for the first time in a very long time. This season, Ruby says we’ll see a lot more firsts, including her fitting into her first pair of Spanx, an invention for women that she praises. “I call this my ‘crossover season’ because of how blind I was to myself. Even eating healthy food, if you don’t take care of the reasons why you’re eating, the healthy food can become an addiction, and you eat too much of the healthy food.”

You’ll see fights with ex-boyfriend Denny, her working through a childhood she cannot remember and a depression she wants to shake, as well as her receiving for the first time some very tough love from those closest to her. Her dear friend Jeff calls her “sick” while a trainer questions her desire for even wanting to lose weight as we see her storm out of a workout.

Be ready to get back on the emotional ride with Ruby, as this fearless, candid and strong woman fights for her life in front of millions of her closest fans.

Just for our DietsInReview.com readers, Ruby had this special message:

“I want to let you know I thank you for your support, it keeps me going!”

Tune in to “Ruby” on Sundays starting March 6. at 7/8 pm EST.
