When people hear the word “bodybuilder” they tend to think of the over-sized giant “meat heads” who’ve been pumping who-knows-what into their bodies for years. But from where I come from, there’s a whole other side of things.
Does the picture to the left look anything like the “meat head” described above? Not in my opinion. What I see is a young and beautiful woman who obviously knows what she’s doing both in the gym and the kitchen.
Jamie Eason, also known as “The Worlds Fittest Model,” was born August 10, 1976 in Houston, Texas and has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Texas A&M. Currently she’s a full time spokesmodel/writer for Bodybuilding.com, the leading company in the fitness industry, as well as a writer for Lifetime’s “The Balancing Act.”
Eason’s web series, “True Beauty,” is also displayed on Bodybuilding.com where you can find her articles on diet, training, and lifestyle. Her goal in life is to help anyone and everyone that she can reach their own health and weight loss goals. She does this by traveling around the country making appearances and promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle.
Eason’s beginning was similar to many. After a scare of breast cancer in her early 20s she decided it was time to get healthy. While still in college, she took a weight training class, which was what grabbed her attention specifically toward weight training. After joining a local gym, Eason still wasn’t getting the results she wanted so she contacted a nutritionist and was put on a specific diet that ended up transforming her body.
Eason began her bodybuilding career in 2005 when she earned her WNBF Figure pro card as well as her WNSO Fitness Model pro card at her first bodybuilding competition ever. In 2006, she received Hardbody Entertainment’s “World’s Fittest Model” title.

Jamie’s Personal Philosophy:
“This is your life. If you are not who you want to be, change it! It won’t be easy and it may take some time, but surround yourself with people who love and support you and go for it! No regrets! Only you dwell on your failures. Good luck and remember the inner strength you’ll achieve from adopting a healthy lifestyle far supersedes anything physical.”
