Mini Bio
Alfredo “Frado” Dinten was born in Santiago, Chile and immigrated to the U.S. with his parents when he was just three. Growing up as a proud new American, Frado dreamed of joining the Marines, and enlisted when he was 17. His first deployment came during Operation Desert Storm, leaving behind his two-week and two-year-old children. When he returned from the Gulf War, Frado started gaining weight, something he credits to post-war stress trying to fulfill his duties as a family man. Since his military career, Frado has worked the trading floor at the New York Merchantile and is currently a commodity trader. That environment has taken a toll on his body, and he’s ready to trade-up for a healthier life.
