The Shepherd’s Diet Review (UPDATED 2023): Don't Buy Before You Read This!
The Shepherd’s Diet is a 7-step approach weight loss plan used to improve the immune system and metabolism. They specifically have made it as a bible integrated diet plan that seeks scripture as guidance for overall health.
Different guidebooks are offered based off of 100 pages of notes including what to avoid, what to take for fat burning, a fat loss protocol involving fasting, what foods to shop for, and stress reduction. By following these guidelines it is expected that energy will increase, appetite will be suppressed, metabolism will be enhanced, and stubborn fat will melt off. Our highest rated weight loss diet plan is the 18Shake Diet. We’ve given it high praise because of its well-rounded weight loss results seen in users, and its approach in offering comprehensive support. Read up on the specifics of the 18Shake Diet by examining it further here.
THE SHEPHERD’S DIET INGREDIENTS AND SIDE EFFECTS

- Fat Burning Nutrients Report: You’ll learn what nutrients are sorely lacking in the American diet, and what kinds of vitamins and minerals should be eaten. They also add how current farming methods have stripped foods of their nutrients, and why it’s so important to make sure you eat the right foods.
- “The Moses Secret” Fat Loss Protocol: Time controlled fasting is advised not only for improved immunity and weight loss, but also for spiritual growth. The specific fasting protocol offered is intended to be the best, pain-free approach to limit the amount of potential side effects that can result.
- The What Would Jesus Eat Grocery Field Guide: A full breakdown of what kinds of foods to shop for and what is best avoided, such as foods in the deli and meat isle. Outlined are also cost-efficient foods which can save you money.
- Prayer Warrior Anti-Stress Guide: By introducing prayer you can reduce stress and prevent unwanted metabolic changes. You’ll be in contact into what is said to be a “higher state”, so your outlook can remain positive and you’ll be calmer.
No information is provided upfront on what specific kinds of ingredients are used, but it does seem to emphasize healthy fats, unprocessed foods, and non GMO foods. Some customers have said it is essentially a ketogenic diet, which emphasizes limit carbohydrates with a majority of macronutrients coming from fat.
There is also no information about the total amount of calories allowed. Without this valuable information it’s unclear if it’s based off of a simple 2,000 calorie a day diet as many diet plans are. No information is provided either to help determine how long the fasting is maintained for, whether it is for more than a 24 hour period or not.
Fasting of any kind should be exercised with caution, especially for those with pre-existing health conditions as it can potentially lead to blood sugar related complications, or extreme fatigue.
Our research team has looked at several diet plans and they’ve determined which are most suitable for sustained weight loss.
THE SHEPHERD’S DIET QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS
Home cooked meals are emphasized with an avoidance of certain kinds of processed foods. This is healthy but it’s also a very standard kind of diet plan. It uses a ketogenic approach to weight loss; therefore most of what you eat will be based off of fats.
It’s quite difficult to try and understand the main specifics of this diet since the official website is very general. From what has been expressed by the few consumer reviews, it appears to be a keto diet which has grown in popularity in recent memory. These kinds of diets can help contribute to weight loss, but research on its long-term effects has not been thoroughly studied.
Weight loss often comes as a result of the limited carbohydrates, since carbs can promote the retention of water, thereby causing an increase of water weight. By eating many carbohydrates the body can hold onto a lot of water, but this is not actual fat. It is possible to lose a lot of water weight from it but as mentioned previously, long-term studies are lacking.

THE PRICE AND QUALITY OF THE SHEPHERD’S DIET
You get a lot of guidebooks and information to look over for what kinds of foods to eat, what to select at the grocery store, and recommendations for stress relief. It does not appear they do not offer recipes.
For the 6 guides you pay a total of $47. It is helpful that you get to understand in detail what nutrients to eat, and what kinds of foods are best. The anti-stress section is also very valuable as stress can lead to weight gain and a reduced quality of life.
Whether or not real weight loss can result and whether or not most of this information can be found online for free is not known. The specifics of this diet are lacking, so it’s difficult to determine for certain if the information is valuable, for this we look at consumer reviews in the “Customer Opinions of The Shepherd’s Diet” section.

BUSINESS OF THE SHEPHERD’S DIET
Judging from their official website it appears they also go by the same company name as this product. They do have a “Contact Us” section but when you click on that section, you get a misdirection claim on the behalf of their website, not the web browser. This means that they are having technical issues on their end, and you also can’t contact them to learn more.
One notable customer review mentioned how though the official website states additional support is offered, the website had glitches and made it impossible to navigate.
Because of these long-standing issues it’s impossible to learn more about the company, and this includes information about their claimed 60 day money back return policy.

CUSTOMER OPINIONS OF THE SHEPHERD’S DIET
Not many opinions are available online but here are the reviews we could find:
“You only get 3 days’ worth of meals… they provide a website but it does not work”
“Same basic thing as a ketogenic diet, save your cash the ideas are so simple”
“Really feel like this is the right diet plan for my needs”
“Insightful and makes for some good reading”
Overall the main reviews we could find were negative. The reoccurring issue customers had was that the information was so basic that it didn’t reveal anything which isn’t based off of the ketogenic diet, except it is repackaged for claimed spiritual insight.
One consumer said that there were only 3 days of meal plans, and that it was not enough to be considered a valuable diet plan. With so little to go on consumers felt like they had wasted their money.
Look at what diet plans were top rated for their easy to follow approach to weight loss.
CONCLUSION – DOES THE SHEPHERD’S DIET WORK?
This basics of this diet is that it offers customers stress relief, information on what foods and nutrients to choose from, and it emphasizes a high fat diet, but from quality foods. What’s lacking if the information about the company, forms of contact, and any reach science to back up any of the claims made. They do offer some testimonials, but there is in actual evidence to support the claims of an improved immune system or weight loss from any clinical studies. Few have used it judging from the available user opinions, and those that did mentioned how they felt it was a glorified version of a ketogenic style diet.
After analyzing several types of diets, the most impressive one our review team saw was the 18Shake Diet. It emphasizes taking all-natural supplements such as a fat burning weight loss pill and a meal replacement shake, both of which are natural and free of any cheap ingredients.
The creators of this diet also provided some impressive testimonials from customers who were able to experience improvements not just in weight loss, but also in overall health. After analyzing the ingredients we concluded it has potent, high dosage additives which can assist in appetite suppression, metabolism boosting, and stimulant free support. Review the 18Shake Diet to see if it suits your needs for weight loss coverage.

I ordered the Shephards Diet online January 11, 2018. The amount of $59.40 was deducted from my account. I was soon informed by email this product is out of stock. I have been trying to find out when it will ship with no luck. I am now trying to get a refund, again with no luck. This appears to be a total hoax.
I watched this presentation to the very end and was considering trying it. When I clicked the link and it took me to the clickbank payment page, I was surprised to see a $9.99 shipping fee, the shipping fee was a red flag for me as I understood it was a digital product, so I read all of the small print on the page and found that it is only a digital product, there is no hard copy so you will never receive anything in the mail.
I decided this was a deceptive practice to make more money and therefore made me feel that maybe there were more deceptive practices within the program, so I did not purchase the plan.
They do ship out a book. A know because I got one.
No it actually does mail you the book also. You have online access and the book sent to you. I love it!
I purchased the plan& also ordered the oil which I only wanted 1 bottle they charged me for 3. I am calling Monday to cancel my order. Also joined there private club. People of another country were mostly on it & of a different faith than Christian that turned me off.
Try calling them at 844-854-7437. I ordered last Sept. Ordered 2 books, got one book for $ 102. Then they were charging my cc account 7.61 twice a month. My satisfaction was a refund of 30.51. Yes clearly a scam. Shame on them, shame on them for trying to make a profit in Gods name. I hope you have better luck than I did God bless. .
The charge every 2 weeks is for the club subscription. You don’t have to take the subscription. It was explained in the print where it was advertised.
I’m with you. I can not get hold of them to either. Hope some one will come up with
with a way.
I have spoken with them on 2 different occasions. Yes, they do answer the phone.
I emailed her and got a reply that eveing
Mary Eichelberger You can have my book for FREE!! This is the biggest SCAM using Jesus’ Name! Send me your address to P. O. Box 185 Summerton, SC 29148 Mine cost $57.00 but they tried to put me in some Meal Club for $19.00 a month. I called 844-854-7437 and finally got a HUMAN! He said he would cancel the Meal Club Membership and return the $19.00 in 4-7 days.. I am holding my breath. Jenny
I can not tell you enough how much of a joke this Shepherd’s diet seemed to me. I cancelled immediately. I have been receiving so many emails from them. I have contacted them dozens of times and also unsubscribed dozens of times. They will not stop contacting me.
They would not contact me and I sent email to them daily!
Have been trying to cancel this Shepherds Diet. I can’t find a phone No. or anything to cancel them!! Will contact my bank next to avoid any more payments for 6.95 This is a big scam !
phone is 844-854-7437 Good luck
I believe that it is in high demand and people who ordered the physical book have had to wait. It is an encouraging group and people are having success!
Both my wife and I have tried this Shepard’s ‘diet’ plan. We’re not so much on trying to loose weight as quick as possible, but rather eat healthier food. Using the information supplied for what type of foods are good for you – and which ones are not, the preparation and amount that should be consumed for each meal, we have found that we are now eating healthier, eating less, lost weight and feeling better. It seems more like a common sense food eating guide rather than a loose weight quickly plan.
Haven’t received the book, it has been 33 days. Tracked the package and it says it has been at my post office for 28 days The post office does not have any packages for me.
I ordered this diet the first of March this year. It today stomach up. I sent for a refund they only sent me part of my investment total scam!
It is very sad to see that people claim to be working for God and yet try to make money off people. Everything you do for the Love of God or because God so instructed you to do so should not be charged. God never charged for healing the sick and for all the miracles he performed. So sad to see all this. It’s just another money making scheme.
I bet that everyone who said it’s a scam didn’t really give it an honest try. How easy it is to judge others.
I bought my book took no time to get it. I tried the diet and lost 7lbs in two weeks. The other diets doesn’t teach you to eat right plus you have to eat their food. Once you stop the diet plans you gain the weight back. I’ve been on several of diets. It’s knowing the right things to eat. I lost that much in two weeks and that was no exercise. So I guess its all in what an individual wants to do. I like this book.
Shepherd Code By Kristina Wilds is another weight loss* book that promises to help you slim down and achieve a far better figure, regardless of your current age, experience or starting weight. This is quite serious – there’s no doubt about. The product promises that those who adopt it into their lifestyle might be able to get …
The Shepherd code. Please make sure you are looking at the right one. you pay $47.00
I bought shepherds diet. I got the hard copy in the mail and you also get the electronic. You get Web site support community and Ms Wilds puts a live video feed out regularly.
it seemed common sense to me, so I ordered the 6 books; my Visa was charged the end of January, they e-mailed me Feb 9th that it was on the way, the pamphlet (that included the prime book, plus 5 additional “books”) arrived Feb 20th, & I requested a refund on March 25. I was told in May, that I had waited too long beyond the 60 day refund guarantee, & I’ve been fighting w/ them ever since. This organization, The Shepherd’s Code/Diet is an absolute fraud. I cannot find any address of the headquarters, but I really want to report them to the Better Business Bureau & any authorities that could put them out of business. The most egregious part of the whole mess is their using the Bible & our Lord Jesus’ name to promote their robbing scheme as a Christian program.
You need to read the Bible for your self cause Jesus did not eat pork or shrimp. In Deuteronomy chapter 14 tells of the clean foods that can be eaten.
Wish I had read this before I ordered. I am trying to get my money back. Was told I would receive a email within an hour and someone would come to my house to pick up the book. I think this is a scam and I cannot eat like they suggest we should. To much fat. My face became red and rough and scaley. Do not know what is going on but I don’t want this diet. I don’t think they know what they are talking about.
If this really was a Bible based diet. Why does it not follow Levitical food laws? In what would Jesus eat? Certainly NOT bacon or any pork! It is essentially a keto diet plan. Which yes keto works!
Thank you for doing reviews. I too almost bought in. Thank you , thank you thank you!!
I say dito to all these negatives. I to ordered the book got it read it returned it one month later still no refund I paid insurance to make sure it was received and it was the next day. I have been calling for 2 weeks with NO ANSWER. They should be ashamed using God like this His name is the reason I ordered it. Then all those emails that did not apply to weight loss but about politics WRONG on so many levels.
This book is a joke. When you click the box to agree to the terms they enroll you in a membership and charge you $19 a month without you knowing it.
I have been reading this book for months and following it and reading the Bible and one thing I don’t understand is Jesus fed thousands with pita bread, wine and fish. Where is pita bread and wine on the shepherds code shopping list?
Thank You Ann for posting this phone number 844-854-7437. I at least got a human to talk to about the Out-of-the-Blue Charge of $19.00 for some type of Meal Club to my checking account. I was told I would get a full refund in 4-7 days of $19.00 and my Meal Club Membership would be cancelled. I am holding my breath! I have written many emails with no reply!!! IT IS A SCAM using The Bible, Christianity and Jesus name! Kristina Wilds ought to be ashamed of herself!!! I hope she ask for forgiveness before she reaches the Pearly Gates! If not she will fry!!!
I have been using this diet program for 3 months. Beware! The Meal Plan is only recipes, not meals. They are so poorly written. Some recipes are vague, some have the wrong picture or the wrong name, or both. Some are missing steps or ingredients. This is every week. They have made no attempt to make them better. You will get slammed with numerous daily emails from them and their associates – they share your email.
I have been ripped off completely and round that 9 GBP has been coming out of an account I seldom use for 18 months following my initial purchase for the diet, which I did get as downloads. Very average quality and the constant biblical reference very annoying. I have no idea was I got from these 2 fortnightly payments that make even luxury membership to a club peanuts. I hope that we can do something about this. I replied to the original Kristina Wilds to get a repetitive message saying I did not cancel in the time. As I was unaware it was happening I could not cancel something I did not know I had. Please let us gather together and do something about this.
She still has a Facebook group open and running that she is administrator of. It’s a private group but I don’t think they ask too many questions to let ppl in. Could be another way to try to contact her.
