Healthy eating enthusiast Gwyneth Paltrow has been writing her GOOP newsletter for quite some time now, providing her readers with all sorts of tips and information on places to visit, things to do and see, along with some inspiration from her circle of celebrity friends. In her latest issue of things to see, Gwyneth outlines her top 10 food blogs. This time they aren’t all celebrities, per say, but people that love food and love to blog and share their knowledge, experience and most of all – amazing recipes.
After reviewing her list, it turns out that I actually follow some of Gwyneth’s favorite blogs, as well. Below, I’ve selected my top 3 food blogs that I recommend checking out: two from Gwyneth’s list and one as my own recommendation.
Stay at Stove Dad: This blog is about a working father who heads home from his job to cook meals for his family everyday. I love this blog because it shares struggles many families with working parents when trying to get food on the table. Blogger John Donohue is also a thrifty dad, so you won’t find overly complicated ideas that might scare you off from wanting to try the recipes yourself.
Orangette: This blog from Molly Wizenberg chronicles what she eats, cooks and enjoys along the way. Currently residing in Seattle, with her own Brooklyn-style pizzeria, Molly continues to share her joy of food with her readers. She also just released a book entitled A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table.
Gluten-Free Girl: This blog by Shauna James Ahern is truly a testament that YES, delicious foods exist when eating gluten-free. Not only has she chronicled this on her blog with amazing photos and yummy recipes, but she just released her food cookbook Gluten-Free Girl and the Chef.
At DietsInReview.com, our blog is also one that we are super proud of. Covering everything from the latest in health news, celebrity diets, diet trends, and our series’ which include living gluten-free, the list goes on. Our goal is to help shape a healthier you, so make sure to check back often and enjoy the wealth of information so many share.
