Bradley Cooper was named 2019 Sexiest Man Alive this week in People Magazine’s annual honor. The 36-year-old hunk who stars in the much anticipated Valentine’s Day has been linked to a few famous ladies during his career including actress Renee Zellweger and recently Jennifer Lopez. Cooper doesn’t see himself as a ladies man, but his sparkling blue eyes and killer smile might suggest otherwise. Cooper is also fluent in French, close to his mother, and knows how to cook.
You don’t get this coveted Sexiest Man Alive title without a body to match. Cooper sported a buff body in movies The A-Team and The Hangover, and while preparing for the film Limitless Cooper had a special workout regimen to get him into shape.
His workouts were long and intense, but when you watch his movies, you can tell the hard work pays off. Cooper trained three to five times per week for 120 minutes each session using the 3-2-1 training method. This describes using three 10-minute intervals of cardio, two 10-minute intervals of strength training, and one 10-minute interval of abdominal training. All of the sequences were repeated twice for one workout.
For his diet, the star avoided flour, sugar and extra salt. His diet focused on meat, eggs, fruits and vegetables.
Whether you agree with his being named Sexiest Man Alive or not, Bradley Cooper has definitely offered an example of hard work to go with his good looks. Seeing the type of workouts and eating habits Cooper has to stick with shows that a body like his doesn’t come easy.
