Antoine Dove Proposes to Alexandra White on Biggest Loser Finale

After being eliminated in weeks one and two, respectively, Alexandra White and Antoine Dove kept in touch. But unlike most contestants who remain friends following elimination, these two were doing much more than offering moral support, they were falling in love.

After her elimination, Alexandra admitted to having a crush on fellow contestant Antoine, and then announced that the two had begun dating. Two weeks later Antoine confirmed the relationship, boasting about the positive impact the two were having on each other’s weight loss journeys.

In an unexpected, and unprecedented, moment on the Biggest Loser 8 finale, Antoine dropped to one knee in front of a joyous audience and a shocked Alexandra. (more…)

Rebecca Meyer – Biggest Loser At-Home Winner Season 8

The pink team was able to continue the winning streak last night during the Biggest Loser season 8 finale. While Rebecca Meyer didn’t take the top prize as four previous pink team members had done, she did win the at-home prize, earning her $100,000 and justification for all her hard work.

Rebecca looked positively radiant in a sassy new pixie-cut and blond hair-do that took everyone by surprise. Rebecca joined Biggest Loser weighing 279 pounds, and dropped to 139 pounds to earn her the at-home prize. That’s a total loss of 140 pounds, nearly 50 percent of her total body weight. (more…)

Danny Cahill – Biggest Loser Winner Season 8

Biggest Loser season 8 came to a close last night and Danny Cahill, a married father of two from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, walked away its newest champion. When Danny began his journey at Biggest Loser he weighed in at 442 pounds, one of this season’s heaviest contestants. When he punched through the paper image of his old self, he emerged a man unrecognizable. Not only has Danny lost a downright impressive amount of weight since May 2024, he’s done so in a manner in which he looks healthy. And even more shocking, after standing next to him, you can’t help but wonder where all that skin went.

Danny’s final weight was 191 pounds, a staggering 239-pound loss that equated to a 55.58 percent total loss of body weight. Very impressive.

Now, Danny faces the hardest part of all, and we wish him all the luck as he continues his journey.

Biggest Loser Finale Tonight – Who Will be the Winner?

Tonight is the night we’ve been waiting 13 long weeks for. It’s the live Biggest Loser finale, and at the end of two-hour program, we will meet the newest Biggest Loser winner!

Mike Morelli’s Biggest Loser Recap – 8.12

The contestants were sent home last week for the final push to lose weight for finale. This is an extremely difficult time for the contestants. There is a lot of pressure to succeed and to keep losing weight and it just gets hard. When you go home real life hits. You now have responsibilities and cannot focus on solely yourself.

This final four seemed to take all of the challenges of home head on. They confronted issues of their past and continued to strive for success. The thing I like most about seeing the contestants at home is that we get to see them in a more personal setting, we get to see how they really are.

The contestants got the traditional visits from the trainers and were able to deal with some issues. The contestants are finally realizing that they are new people. And I love seeing that. They have changed, and being around family and friends continues to enforce that. (more…)

Allen Smith – Biggest Loser Elimination Interview

During Week 11 of the Biggest Loser Season 8, Allen Smith was eliminated from the weight loss series after losing 95 pounds while on the show. But even though this Indiana firefighter was voted off the show, his eliminated status is not deterring his drive to continue with his weight loss and complete lifestyle overhaul.

Allen transformed from a 325-pound firefighter to a powerhouse who works out twice a day, fulfills his duty as a community servant as firefighter and county coroner and even manages his own healthy catering service. Just following the November 24 elimination episode, Allen took some time from his incredibly packed life to answer a few questions about his weight loss journey and his continued weight loss progress.

Here’s what he had to say about how his health and finances are interrelated and how he plans on enjoying his Thanksgiving dinner without over-indulging.

Mike Morelli’s Biggest Loser Recap – Episode 8.11

This week was this final week on the ranch for the Biggest Loser Season 8 contestants. They all made it the entire way and that is an amazing accomplishment.

This episode really showed us the transformations from the season. In fact, I forgot what each of the contestants looked like before the weight started to come off. They all are going home healthier and truly changed people. But, of course, all the reminiscing takes second place to what matters most right now.

Making it to the final four.

Rebecca Meyer – Biggest Loser Elimination Interview

That spunky girl who raced out of the Biggest Loser bus on episode one has transformed into a confident, determined, wiser woman. Rebecca Meyer says her week 10 elimination was due to game play, because she was a “huge threat in the game,” due her to top percentages throughout the season.

That elimination didn’t keep Rebecca down. She is positively thriving at home. With a current weight of 157 pounds, and a new love in her life, Rebecca has become the person she always wanted to be.

Listen now as she tells about her romance with fellow contestant Daniel Wright, a person she says is her best friend. She’ll also talk about who the new Rebecca really is.

Mike Morelli’s Biggest Loser Recap – Episode 8.10

It is makeover week on the Biggest Loser! Makeover week is a very fun and exciting time for the contestants, and all of us fans as well. For weeks they have been going through hell to change their lives, but the contestants never really have a chance to get a feel for their new bodies. Makeover week is the first chance that these contestants can really see what they’ve done for themselves. Everyone looked amazing for their makeovers, you can really get a feel for how much weight each contestant lost.
