Akavar 20/50 is a European weight loss pill that has achieved much success. It has made its move to the U.S. seeking the same. Akavar boasts that it is the ultimate fat cure and that you'll see the results you seek without any diet restrictions or inclusion of exercise.
Akavar is designed to restrict your daily caloric intake to less than normal. Without those calories that your body requires for energy, you'll start to use your fat reserves. This will of course cause you to lose weight and inches. However, you'll immediately gain back that weight should you stop using Akavar. The website offers little-to-know information about the product leaving open many questions about the supplement.
Promotes eating all you like and still seeing weight loss
Reduces urge to overeat
Do not have to count calories
Won't feel hungry
CON
Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the more concerning details include:
Promotes a lifestyle without exercise and healthy diet
No FDA approval
Web site offers very little information
No published clinical research
Does not publish ingredients
Contains caffeine
INGREDIENTS
It takes a lot of research to find what is inside those little Akavar tablets, as the product's website bypasses any discussion. Akavar includes many caffeine sources including xanthine and green tea leaf. Other ingredients include yerba mate, guarana seed, ginger root, kola nut, Tibetan ginseng, cocoa nut, rice flour, yellow no. 6, red no. 3 and Gelatin, among many others.
CONCLUSION
Akavar 20/50 leaves a lot of open questions- which really leads to concerns about both the product's effectiveness and impact on the body. With so many diet pills and supplements on the market, it is important for manufacturers to paint a detailed picture of the product to help consumers make the most educated decisions. Many diet pills and supplements provide all of the information that Akavar seems to have conveniently left out. It is also a little misleading that without diet and exercise you can still lose weight. Anyone who has ever committed to losing weight knows that without important changes to diet and exercise, results are often not achieved.
I just started akavar today. I took two pills before breakfast. The energy is outstanding and I only finished about half my breakfast! I had so much energy that i actually WANTED to work out.. (I hate exercise and NEVER do it.) I will post again in a week to see if I lose any wieght. Lovin it so far!! :)

This prodcuts makes me lose no less than 2 pounds each day. I eat ceareal every morning, random fastfood for luch, and nothing but water after my last 2 pills. I take 4 pills a day and I take the last 2 before 1:00pm because it causes me insomia. I am 5'3, and I currently weight 140. These do not cause you wright rebound. I know because I took them for 2 months, then I stopped for since then. I think I will go back to taking the akavar all the way until I become 120lbs. I want to look hot and my new appearance along with my rapid weight loss will guarantee me a whole new way of living. I will keep you guys posted if anything comes up.

I am an extremely active person that is nowhere near overweight. I am a ballet dancer and I dance 6 days a week. With all that excercise you'd think I'd be tiny, right? I'm 5' exactly and I weigh 120. I suppose to some this is tiny, but not in comparison to my classmates. I'm not anorexic, I just want to lose about 10 pounds or so, to shed a little fat around my waist and on my thighs. It was much easier to dance at around 100 pounds, but when college started, the weight kept coming on. I've been 120 for 2 years now, and I can't seem to shed those few pounds!
I'm trying Akavar today for the first time. 2 pills before lunch and 2 before dinner. It's now 12:00 and I'm awake but I'm tired. I'll keep you updated. This is 10-19-08.

It is exactly 18 days, and i have gone from girl212pounds to girl 191 pounds. so i am doing great. I exercise 4 days a week and eat right. I cheat at times, and endulge in mexican food and chinese, but i always make sure i am exercising more. My biggest problem is my cognac. its hard for me to do away with alcohol.
I dont know if everyone has been experiencing this, but i tend to feel like throwing up every time i eat too much, or eat food that i know is not right. My friend thinks that i might be becoming bulimic, but i disagree coz that feeling only comes when i eat fast food, or over eat.

so ive been taking it for about two days now, and i dont ever feel hungry, usually i snack all the time. im 5'3 and weigh about 140. im not overweight at all, i just wanna look a little better. i dont own a scale but i can for sure tell that my body looks different. and for all the people that say it doesnt work, DONT EAT A BUNCH OF JUNK. sure, it says eat whatever you want, but you wont see the best results. all i do it go about a mile or two on the eliptical and drink water. i probably wont weigh myself because i will lose fat and gain muscle. GOING OFF YOUR WEIGHT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING. if you look better, be HAPPY. and ive had no bad side effects, and if you dont, dont take it. losing weight isnt worth your LIFE. i promise you ill stop taking it too if i have bad side effects. but i really like it!

Hello people, this is my first time submitting my experience on diet pills. My first diet pill was akavar 20/50, and I must say the energy was oustanding. To get to the point I want to ask a question about akavar 20/50. Is it TRUE that it will cause weight rebound after I stop. I know that if I eat stupidly after I stop taking akavar20/50 I will gain weight, but what if I eat the same thing I was eating while I was taking akavar 20/50. I have been eating on mostly plain fresh tomatoes, brocolli, yogurt, ham sandwitches, and cereal every morning.

Just started taking Akavar this morning. Feeling a little burning in my stomach, but nothing that actually would be noticeable if I wasnt looking for it. I am going to start off with just one pill today for it is my first time with any diet pill (just to be on the safe side). Tomorrow I will take 2 because I no that I will be up early enough in the morning to take the first one. I cant afford to lose sleep. My last pill will always be before 1230. I will keep u updated. I am going to weigh myself on Saturday morning and post if anything or nothing has happened so far. It is only wed. That gives me three days to see if there is a difference. I will also be watching what im eating, but EATING STILL and maybe a little activity.

I just started taking this product yesterday. I'm 23, and currently weigh 151 lbs. Since May, I've lost probably between 10-15 lbs, just eating more sensible. But recently I haven't lost anymore weight, I believe I've probably plateaued. I'm hoping that this will help with the 20 more pounds I would like to lose. I really haven't noticed any side effects YET.. but if anyone has any advise I would love it. I really want to see if this product ACTUALLY works!!!

CHECK YOUR LOCAL DRUG STORES..I purchased Akavar with tax 31.00 at local drugstore. Someone mentioned WATER...one point for water intake is because you can get constipated while taking Akavar...BEFORE BED a big NO NO try taking last dose no later than 2p.m.. EAT WHAT YOU WANT...we all would love to but not reasonable Akavar is not a license to eat whatever..if you lose weight or not doing that it is not healthy for your body give your body proper nutrients thru fresh fruits and veggies...NOT HUNGRY...true it helps with cravings and appetite BUT feed your body....even if you just make a smoothie/meal supp shake...or juice veggies...eat at least twice a day using meal drink as a third meal eat 1-2 smal pieces of fruit....drink water ... water helps flush the system out and rid body of excess... CRAMPING MUSCLES...check with physician for me when this happened (not on akavar) my potassium levels were low so I try to eat a bananna every other day or so.. TAKING AKAVAR AND ALLI TOGETHER..no I wouldn't reccomend... UNDER AGE TAKING AKAVAR...this is for 18 and up I am sure the company didnt study effects on children also certain herbs can be harmful....DIRECTIONS...start taking ONE pill PER DAY as you see your body adjusting then take one(1) pill twice a day later can increase but not to exceed 4 pills a day and no more than 2 pills at a time....
My friend has lost 52lbs in 2 months...when I started I lost 3lbs in 2 days...I work out 2 times per week with a trainer and Akavar so far has helped me stay on track with eating HEALTHY food for my body...I HAVE NOTICE that I didn't feel any different in my body when it was time for my menstral cycle....I usually get crazy cravings and feel bloaty this didn't happen and I was shocked and happy. WITH ANYTHING use a lil common sense...even people who thought that having WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY they could eat anything were sadly mistaken when after all that cutting they gained the weight back ..I know people personally male and female...SO WHILE USING AKAVAR IF IT IS RIGHT FOR YOU GRAB A HEALTHY SHAKE USING PROTEIN FROZEN FRUIT, MAYBE SOY MILK OR WATER....GRAB A PIECE OF FRUIT OR TWO DURING THE DAY...EAT VEGGIES....BAKED LEAN MEATS LIKE CHICKEN, TURKEY, AND FISH....EXERCISE EVEN IF IT'S JUST A 30 MIN WALK AFTER DINNER...DO WHAT MOST OF US KNOW HOW TO DO WHILE USING AKAVAR TO "HELP" US STAY ON TRACK....sparkpeople.com is a free site that I use to help get food ideas and recipe....not everything for everybody BUT everybody can find THE RIGHT thing for them....

I have been using Akavar on and off for about 6 months, I have noticed the small unpleasant side effects, such as the "loose" stool, which is really just more fatty than normal. I have also experienced minor headaches, and an increase of my body temperature lasting a few hours after I take it. These small side effects pale in comparison to what Akavar does, during the duration I have been taking it, on and off so I don't become dependent, I have continuously lost weight. You do have to work a little for the results, cut down on your caloric intake, not by much though, and you don't even really need to up the exercising. It is a great product as long as you don't expect results for nothing, you have to want to change which means changing your dietary habits. It's not for the caffeine intolerant. I have had good results, but like any dieting method results DO vary. Give it a try if nothing else works, as far as I can tell it has fewer side effects than many other pills.
