The Hollywood Diet comes in two formulas: the 24-hour Miracle Diet or the 48-hour Miracle Diet. The product is supposed to help you lose up to 5 pounds in 24 hours by putting you on their special and trademarked liquid fast for one or two days. Both Miracle Diets contain vitamins and minerals and are ephedra and caffeine free. It's a natural blend of juices and botanical extracts that is mixed with water and sipped throughout the day. The Hollywood 48-hour Miracle Diet also includes the added ingredient of a special blend of the essential oils of bergamot, tangerine, lemon and orange. You are not supposed to consume any additional food while you are on either of the Miracle Diets.

Depending upon which diet you choose: The Hollywood 24-hour or 48-hour Miracle Diet, you consume the entire bottle of the juice and drink 8 glasses of water each day that you are on it. You are not supposed to consume any other food or beverages, nor are you supposed to smoke while on the diet.


It is recommended that you exercise moderately while on the 24- or 48-Hour Miracle Diet. However, you should refrain from a more rigorous exercise routine until after the diet is over.


Fasting or consuming a liquid fast for one day or a few days at a time has been used for many years as a way to lose weight quickly, reduce fevers and also to give our digestive systems a break to allow them to get rid of built up toxins. Although many professionals in the medical field refute this notion and believe that the body is acutely capable of ridding itself of unwanted toxins without the intervention of a fast, many individuals continue to employ this practice for a number of reasons.

The Hollywood 24-hour or 48-hour Miracle Diet can assist in weight loss, but that weight is most likely water weight rather than actual fat. In looking at the ingredient list, the Miracle Diets look like a fancy fruit juice that is simply supplemented with some vitamins and minerals. I'm thinking of doing it -- yet doubling it. 400 calories a day is too little for me. But 800. What do you all think?

I started this diet 32 hours ago. Have lost 5 pounds so far. I did have an intense headache yesterday morning and this morning but was relieved with tylenol. I feel a diffence in by body since yesterday thats for sure!

So I think I am going to try this hollywood diet thing. I just need a jumpstart into losing weight again. I have been so depressed lately. I dont even want to wear jeans and stuff, just my sweats. I weigh 136 i was 128 before.. So my goal is to get back down there and keep it off. I am so excited to try this diet. I just hope that I will succeed!!!! Wish me luck and I will get on here and tell ya'll all bout it!!!

im about to start the diet in the morning and i will let you know how it goes on monday sometime. I'll also post on here 2marrow to let you know my exact weight and every thing then on the day after just to keep everyone updated and to show you if it really does work or not

I like it but I have not lost one pound. I began Wednesday and finished Thurrsday. I ate a healthy diet on Friday, but I did not lose one pound, so I decided to try again. I began Saturday April 17, 2010 and will finish Sunday. I weighed myself on Saturday and actually gained a pound or a few ounces, but I am determined to see if it works. Now it is Sunday I will fast fhe whole day and eat on Monday very healthy. I do have Hypothyroidism which is very difficullt for me to lose wieight. I do have the will power and I believe that my thyrod has to give in at some point and I will lose weght. I enjoyed the taste of the drink and will continue it again this week. I will let you know ir it worked and if I lost any weight.

Ok so I'm a big girl I'm 25 5'1 221 pounds. Im starting this liquid diet today.. let's see if it works .. so far its been a couple of hours & don't feel hungry at all.. I will check in tommorow to let u all know if it really works.

i just started today at 7:30 ish. i only took a few sips so far and i already drank 24 oz of water, it makes me a little nausiated at first but it goes away. i do not feel dizzy yet and i may not get all those symtoms brecause i dont consum coffee ever and i do not drink soda, i an 15 5'6 and weigh about 168. trying to get down to 125-130 within the next 3 months.

started 48hr at 10:30am today I am 5'4 160lbs did it as a kick start I wasn't hungry until around 7pm and had already drank my fill for the day. So I had lentil soup. Tomorrow I will hold off and let you know how I am doing

I started this diet this morning at 11am I am on my 3rd 4hr helping of the 8oz cups. I definately feel dizzy, tired, unmotivated, and have a bad headache. My mom does this all the time and says u feel better the 2nd day....we will see.

I just got done with my 48 hours, and I lost 9.08lbs. It def worked. I never felt hungry, and I drank a lot of water. But on Day 1 I had a bad headache all day. (Probably the lack of caffine). On day 2 I was in the bathroom a lot, #2.. really constipated at first. But when I woke up on the third morning, I was pleased to see I was 9.08lbs lighter.

I have done this diet for one full day so far and I have lost 6 pounds !! I feel great and will be doing this once a week until I reach my goal.

I made my own juice as it was way cheaper :-D

I'm so hungry!!!!! I started March 11, 2010 at 10:00 p.m. after my delicious meal at McDonalds!!!! I'm 21 and 5'5 180 pds!!! I just cheated and ate a chicken salad, yum!!! Is that bad, I couldn't help it!!! This is my first time ever on any diet I never thought I could get this big I use to weight 135 until college life hit me!!! This diet better work

I started this diet yesterday at 8:00am. I have had a horrible headache since yesterday afternoon and I have been completely fatigued. I also feel extremely weird whenever I'm outside, driving, or even standing up & walking around when I'm inside. I feel as if I'm not all there and everything I do is a dizzy blur. I'm on the 2nd day and I'm not even hungry and I have dropped 5 pounds. I would recommend this stuff if it didn't make me feel like death. Btw, I'm 27 years old, 5'3" and 128 pounds. I work out intensely atleast 4 days a week. Does anyone else feel this weird/crazy/weak?

I'm currently on my 2cd day, and all I have to say is woooow! I look great and feel great :) its not too hard, unless your watching your friends eat a bunch of food... I have already lost 5pounds, leaving for mexico tomorrow so I better look good!! I deffinitaly recommend it! Although I cheated and drank green tea, its truly awesome!

ok just started this diet, and after 2 hrs I have a splitting headache..thinking b/c I am losing water weight and getting dehydrated...ok wondering if everyone actually drank this w. in 4 hrs? I have been drinking that w. in an hr or so? also not drinking 6 glasses..only about 4..wondering if this all really matters? oh and im smoking too does that really effect it?

I just started this morning at 8:00 a.m on the dot and so far not bad. and I hope after tomorrow, I will see some pounds gone. I workout at least 4 times out of a week. I noticed when I went to workout today, it had me sweating alot and I had alot of energy. Let you know the outcome soon.

I'm startin the 48 hour miracle diet today I'm 21 5'3 and my starting weight is 201.9 my goal is 150 at the most pushing more 145 I have 16 days till my birthday want to atleast go down to 175 before then I'm going to try hard any advice??????

I am on the first day and feel fine. I have just about completed all of the juice and it is around 6 pm. I plan on heading to the gym in a bit as I work out daily. Will let you know after tomorrow how much weight I have lost and how it is going. The way I see it we can give our bodies a 2 day rest from the food we feed it to rid itself from a few toxins.

You guys are crazy and must didn't do the diet right. I did the 48 diet last week and lost 11 pounds and the weight has stayed off. I worked out 4 days last week so they may helped aid to the weight staying off. I just started the diet again today and will complete it Thursday and my goal is 10 pounds. You have to be disciplined to do the 48 hour diet and I truly am. I love that I am loosing weight. Kudos to me...Good luck to all those that try and if u stop eating during the fiet you may loose more. Oh and try working out you can loose more.
