Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

as we watching the show tonight, we were very disgusted to see these people pulling trucks. what does this have to do with the show. how can you lose weight when you are not with your trainers much any more. we used to love the show, but it is getting sissy.
and that Michael knew what he was doing when he put himself on the big guy team. what a sissy he is. we want to see more of them working out, this is getting like the other reality shows out there. can't you and bob do something about this?????? who is in charge with the idot things they are doing now??? can you return an answer to me personally????

as of January of this year, i started this diet plan and i have seen great results. I am down 25 lbs. I'm so excited that I will be looking better than ever this summer. Thanks Jillian!

I would like to know if Ican be helped.I am diabetic have colesterol need hip surgury a bad back and Ive had cancer.All of this is because of being over weight and I cant lose because of my hips and back. As of last February I tried this diet and excercised plane. I lost 40 pounds and I am very happy with my out come. I am now eatting healthier and feel great. Thanks to Jillian I got on the right track.

I was wondering if by all possible if i could get on the biggest loser show. I have been struggling with my diet most of all my diabetes, but the hardest part is trying to exercise and lose my 70lb stomach when i just had back surgery "2 of my discs were removed and replaced with cadaver bones and i have five pins holding it in place" although it was well over a year ago it still hurts so would you know how to help me get rid of this huge stomach while being limited to most exercises? would you know an exercise i can try with limited movement or strain on my back to lose my big belly? please help! Everyone says your the best!!!

This is the first program I've EVER had work. The exercise is hard, but for the first time I actually have abs I'm proud of! Plus, the flexible dieting is a plus- I have chocolate every day!
Took fat burners too, and don't know whether it was more that or the actual program, but all I know is I lost 10 lbs easy in a month (which is a lot for me, as they were those last "vanity" lbs.)

Customer service is very poor. Functionality of the online diet tools is limited, not easily navigated and overall very poor. They are mostly motivated by selling you additional products. I don't mind Jillian making tons of money off her talent but her tools, customer service and newsletter just push selling way too much.

Who is better Jillian Michaels or Bob Harper? Jillian of course!!! She kicks but. I need to lose about 50 pounds and am going to start this online program as well as work with a trainer at my gym. I will try to check back in and you know how it is coming along.

hello people get real. this is tv they work out at least 8 hrs a day.who has time for this in the real world!its all money getter, yes they help give you ideas they have the gym who can afford gym menb.but what if you had bad back or some reason you cant lose weight, and i like bob he works with who you are not amy steg,,

How do you gain weight?
I have always been called "skinny" It is just as bad as being called "fat"
I am a gymnastics coach I love the life of a gymnast. It is true and mostly fun!
But when I work out I become thinner!
I guess I could have worse problems right?
No diets for me. My husband is a wonderful healthy cook, we both eat healhy. We eat a great breakfast and a huge lunch,,since we do not get home until 8:00 at night.
So I need to know how to be healthy weight.
Please help
