The Gram Slam Diet plan is one that offers a structured plan that is a safe and healthy way to lose weight. The program was created by Janeen St. Claire, who authored the book The Original Supermarket Diet. This updated version of that book is a program that involves no weigh-ins, meetings or counting points. The program includes 19 different days of menus and you get to eat three meals and three snacks each day. This program is easy to follow for both men and women and all of the details are available in the eBook for under $5. The form of exercise that is recommended is walking, which is easy and something easily accessible to everyone.
The first concept behind this program is reading food labels. All of the foods you eat on this program come from the grocery store, and there are no expensive pre-packaged meals to purchase. Organic foods are encouraged on this program as often as possible. The second concept of the Gram Slam program is that it is a lifetime diet plan. Any of the food items that are out of date can be replaced with new items that may become available in the marketplace. Another important aspect of the Gram Slam Diet is that St. Claire has worked hard to make sure that your food intake each day falls below the recommended sodium allotment. You have two options for grocery lists to choose from as far as cooking. You can pick the convenience diet days which require very little cooking, or follow the days that allow you to do more cooking. The grocery lists have the added bonus of being categorized by the items that can be found in the same sections of the grocery store.

DIET and NUTRITION
Eating on the Gram Slam Diet involves eating three meals and three snacks each day. You are encouraged not to skip any of the meals or snacks. Your calorie count is kept between 1084 and 1747 calories each day. This eBook includes grocery lists and 19 days of menus. One of the key components of this program is learning how to read food labels. Although this eBook was recently updated, manufacturers are constantly changing their packaged food content, so it is important to always check the labels of what you’re eating. The Gram Slam Diet is designed to be a lifestyle program. Organic products are encouraged whenever possible. Some products may leave the market, but your knowledge of nutrition will make it easy to replace those. Below is one sample day on the Gram Slam Diet:
Breakfast: Cheese omelet; ½ large grapefruit
Snack: Stonyfield fat free yogurt; ½ cup blueberries
Lunch: Amy’s Organic Shepherd Pot Pie
Snack: 1 large banana
Dinner: 4 oz. baked salmon; ½ cup cooked brown rice; 3 small steamed fresh carrots
Snack: ½ Amy’s Apple Pie; 8 oz Stonyfield 2% milk
EXERCISE
The form of exercise that is recommended with Gram Slam is walking. This is something that is easy to do and you don’t have to have a gym membership to do it. You start out simply with 30 minutes each day. Once your energy increases, you may find that you want to increase your intensity. Other forms of exercise can be done as well, but walking seems to be an encouraging and easy option to get started.
CONCLUSION
The Gram Slam Diet offers everything you need to lose weight and keep it off forever. The program allows for changes that might need to be made in the future where food products are concerned, and everything you need for the diet should be available at Super Walmart. This program is outlined in the available eBook for less than $5 and the information is very helpful. Following the menus allows you to lose weight easily. Gram Slam also encourages you to incorporate walking everyday to boost your calorie burn and get you healthy faster.

Thanks for the review on the OLD 12 day plan. The new updated 19 day diet plan is a much healthier program as many of the old foods have been replaced with organic foods. There are still days that include popular frozen entrees however the foods that contained HFC have been removed. Almost all the foods can be found at Wal-Mart. It is great program and would advise your readers to compare the cost of the New updated version of The Original Supermarket Diet before they purchase any other diet plan.
