Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND

Also known as "The Sprinkle Diet," Sensa is an easy to use dietary supplement that aids in weight loss. Rather than having to take pills like most dietary supplements, Sensa Tastants are a product that you sprinkle on your food. You can use Sensa on your snacks as well. You don’t have to make any big changes to what you eat, but with Sensa you eat less.

The product is designed to work with your sense of smell and claims to make you feel full faster which leads to eating less. As you eat, smell and taste receptors send messages to your brain. These messages release hormones that tell you when it’s time to stop eating. This process is called Sensory Specific Satiety.

Sensa works with your body’s natural impulses to help you avoid hunger and intense cravings. Sensa has no calories and no sugar or sodium. The product is gluten-free as well so those with food allergies can still take it.

Even though there is a clinical study behind Sensa, the study was done by Hirsch himself and is not considered scientifically valid. But in his study of 1,436 men and women, the participants lost an average of just over 30 pounds in six months without making any changes to their diet and exercise program. That is also the claim made by the website, namely that you can lose 30 pounds in six months by following The Sprinkle Diet.

There is currently a deal for those that want to try Sensa. You can try the product for 30 days and return it if you are not satisfied for a refund. The product is marketed as a solution that helps you lose weight without dieting. Sensa was created and developed by board-certified neurologist Dr. Alan Hirsch. He is the nation’s leading authority on the science of smell and taste. Although you don’t have to change your diet with this program, those who have had dramatic results used Sensa with a diet and exercise regimen.

One of the top benefits of Sensa aside from the weight loss would be that it claims not to change the taste or texture of your food. When you start the program there are two different Tastants for salty and sweet foods. You also get a video that guides you through how to correctly use the program.

There are very few side effects with Sensa partly because the ingredients contained in the product are common ingredients you would find in other foods.

CONCON
  • Promotes losing weight without making any changes to diet or exercise

  • Some complaints about customer service and refund process

INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

Sensa contains Maltodextrin (Derived corn in the U.S.), Tricalcium Phosphate, Silica, Natural and Artificial Flavors, FD&C Yellow 5, and Carmine. Sensa also contains Soy and Milk ingredients.

ADMINISTRATIONADMINISTRATION

Sensa asks that all people who try their product and are on medication speak to their primary care doctor before starting anything. They are not qualified to give out any medical advice, meaning they can't tell you if Sensa is right for you based on a particular disease or medication regimen. This product is not FDA approved but the ingredients are on the FDA GRAS list. GRAS means generally recognized as safe. Keep your doctor in the loop about anything you plan on doing.

Sensa is sprinkled all over the surface of your food just before eating it. The Tastants marked “Salty” are sprinkled on all foods that you would typically use salt and pepper or a savory seasoning for meat, fish, pasta, most vegetables and starches. The Tastants marked “Sweet” are sprinkled on sweet foods like fruit, pastries, desserts and cereal. The words “Salty” and “Sweet” do not mean that the actual Tastants contain salt and sugar, or that they will make your food taste salty or sweet – it’s just a way to describe the type of food to use it on.

Sensa can be purchased in savory or salty flavors, like cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch dressing, taco, and Parmesan cheese or as sweet flavors, like cocoa, spearmint, banana strawberry, raspberry, and malt.

Sensa should not be used on liquids or liquid foods like soup or stews.

DIET and EXERCISEDIET and EXERCISE

One of the biggest draws for most people with Sensa will be that you can get results from the product without changing your habits. However, if you want to get results faster it’s advised that you incorporate a sensible diet and exercise regularly. Sensa does work to reduce cravings and make you feel full on less food.

You are encouraged to use Sensa on every meal or snack you eat as well as to keep portions in moderation.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Sensa offers a product that really sounds too good to be true. You sprinkle the Tastants on your food, eat less and lose weight. Most of the bad comments you hear about this product involve the recurring charges on your credit card and being placed into an auto-ship program. If you do decide to try Sensa, remember that your results can be enhanced if you include a sensible diet and start exercising regularly. And check with your doctor first, especially if you take any medications.

Sensa is unlikely to be your magic pill to weight loss, but if it somehow promotes you to eat less and with more mindfulness then perhaps it's worth it.

I am just now trying it and you can get your money back in 30 days and stop the auto billing if it doesn't work for you. I figure if it doesn't work for me within 30 days, I will cancel - worth a try. I am just like the women who posted good success with it - I am 56, had my son 18 years ago, and cannot get this extra 10-15 pounds off - I eat very good food, just too much of it. So far it is curbing my appetite so looking forward to any results within the next couple of weeks.

A scam. "Ivy" who posted on March 28th is probably a company shill. No one is going to lose much weight in 16 days and notice she claims she does not weigh herself. I'm going to be watching this board periodically for other scams. My law office files consumer class actions.

DO NOT Order this junk! You are being conned by this company. They won't give you an on line address where to send back the junk and will charge you 89.00 for a months supply. It does nothing ! You have a 60 day supply, but have to return it in 30 or you pay! Better Business Bureau should look into this!

Did not work at all! This is a big scam! Don't fall for it!
In there letter they tell you to use it consistently for 30-60 days to get results. I used it for 30 days and called to return my product with the "so called" 30 day money back guarantee. They would not honor the guarantee because I was 2 days late in calling. $135.00 plus shipping later is a hard lesson to learn! The rep would'nt even let me talk to another person to discuss the problem.

I was barely able to fit my size 10 clothes prior to using Sensa after the Christmas holidays. I started Sensa on Feb. 4th through HSN. By Feb. 20th, I went to a Mardi Gras Ball in New Orleans and my size 10 fit me very loosely and comfortably. I do not know my weight loss (I do not weigh myself), but my clothes fit better and I am even wearing some size 8s. I have been walking with Sensa, but I was doing that prior to Sensa with no results. Sensa has really changed the way I eat.

Don't waste your money. I had that last 5-10 pounds to lose after losing 41 pounds and this did nothing for me. I was on it for two months and lost nothing. I sprinkled this stuff on everything and it didn't work at all for me. Trust me I eat healthy and did not eat anything bad duirng this time so I was so hopeful that this would work and it was again a waste of my money. I'll stick to more exercise and cutting out more calories instead. What a waste of $79 dollars.

Is there a way to try it without enrolling in the automatic monthly shipping program? I have read alot about it, good and bad. I would like to just try it for a month. If I like it, then I will buy more, but if not, then I don't want the hassle of cancelling future orders.

I really had high hopes that this would be the jumpstart I needed. But the headaches became unbearable. I thought it was allergies at first, but they stopped when I forgot to sprinkle one day, and started right back the next time I used the product. Loose stools I could deal with, but not headaches.
I did notice a fuller feeling, and a really dry mouth, when I was using it.
Good luck to those who are able to use it!

For me, Sensa proved to be a miracle! I am 55...was always thin until after my first child 18 years ago, and it's been a struggle every since to get the weight off. I am a great cook and baker. I do not smoke or drink, but love to eat. All diets have worked for me in that I have lost weight, but I always felt hungry, and eventually, the pounds came back. I have no idea why Sensa works, but since trying this one week ago, I have lost six pounds without trying. I am eating a fraction of what I would normally eat. I have no desire to eat in between meals. The true test for me was at a Chinese buffet on Saturday. Once again, I ate a fraction of what I would have normally eaten and felt great. In my case, I do not believe it is mind over matter, because I tried the Hoodia supplements...was sure they would curb my appetite...desperately wanted them to curb my appetite, but I was still hungry most of the time. I will post again in about two weeks or a month to update my Sensa progress -- but, as of today, I am giving a big thumb's up to this product!

I have not used this product but one thing I do want to share is that this "fullness" factor is found in nature-- it's called fiber. Reading about this product made me instantly think of fiber in the fact that you sprinkle it over your food, it makes you feel full, helps you eat less. Try using a fiber supplement like Beneful. I try to look for products that are marketed as a fiber supplement and not a laxative, and with beneful you sprinkle it on your normal food to get a little edge of fullness. Why not try that at $5 a pop instead of this stuff?

I've been using Sensa for 3 weeks and so far I've noticed a big difference. Immediately I noticed I felt fuller after eating meals. I also noticed I was no longer thinking about eating, especially in the evening. I'm making wiser choices for my meals, since I'm not grazing all day! The results have been 5 lbs. lost. I realize my weight may fluctuate, that this is supposed to be a slower weight loss than many advertise. For the first time in a long time I feel that I'm in control of the food, instead of the food controlling me. It's a great feeling!! Can't wait to see the results at the end of 6 months.

This is my 3rd week. If I use Sensa religiously on EVERYTHING I eat, I can tell that my appetite is less. The problem with Sensa is training yourself to use it correctly. I have lost 1-2 lbs. However, since it's holiday season and food is everywhere, I'm pretty pleased to date.
