Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND

Also known as "The Sprinkle Diet," Sensa is an easy to use dietary supplement that aids in weight loss. Rather than having to take pills like most dietary supplements, Sensa Tastants are a product that you sprinkle on your food. You can use Sensa on your snacks as well. You don’t have to make any big changes to what you eat, but with Sensa you eat less.

The product is designed to work with your sense of smell and claims to make you feel full faster which leads to eating less. As you eat, smell and taste receptors send messages to your brain. These messages release hormones that tell you when it’s time to stop eating. This process is called Sensory Specific Satiety.

Sensa works with your body’s natural impulses to help you avoid hunger and intense cravings. Sensa has no calories and no sugar or sodium. The product is gluten-free as well so those with food allergies can still take it.

Even though there is a clinical study behind Sensa, the study was done by Hirsch himself and is not considered scientifically valid. But in his study of 1,436 men and women, the participants lost an average of just over 30 pounds in six months without making any changes to their diet and exercise program. That is also the claim made by the website, namely that you can lose 30 pounds in six months by following The Sprinkle Diet.

There is currently a deal for those that want to try Sensa. You can try the product for 30 days and return it if you are not satisfied for a refund. The product is marketed as a solution that helps you lose weight without dieting. Sensa was created and developed by board-certified neurologist Dr. Alan Hirsch. He is the nation’s leading authority on the science of smell and taste. Although you don’t have to change your diet with this program, those who have had dramatic results used Sensa with a diet and exercise regimen.

One of the top benefits of Sensa aside from the weight loss would be that it claims not to change the taste or texture of your food. When you start the program there are two different Tastants for salty and sweet foods. You also get a video that guides you through how to correctly use the program.

There are very few side effects with Sensa partly because the ingredients contained in the product are common ingredients you would find in other foods.

PROPRO
  • No pills to take
  • Can be used on all types of foods and snacks

  • Contains no stimulants
  • Eat regular foods and no need to count calories
  • Helps eliminate cravings
  • Easy to use at home or on the go

CONCON
  • Promotes losing weight without making any changes to diet or exercise
  • Sensa is tasteless to most people; some may be able to taste the product
  • Product has not been approved by the FDA (ingredients are on the FDA GRAS list)
  • Some complaints about customer service and refund process
  • Not appropriate for those who are lactose-intolerant because the product contains milk
INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

Sensa contains Maltodextrin (Derived corn in the U.S.), Tricalcium Phosphate, Silica, Natural and Artificial Flavors, FD&C Yellow 5, and Carmine. Sensa also contains Soy and Milk ingredients.

ADMINISTRATIONADMINISTRATION

Sensa asks that all people who try their product and are on medication speak to their primary care doctor before starting anything. They are not qualified to give out any medical advice, meaning they can't tell you if Sensa is right for you based on a particular disease or medication regimen. This product is not FDA approved but the ingredients are on the FDA GRAS list. GRAS means generally recognized as safe. Keep your doctor in the loop about anything you plan on doing.

Sensa is sprinkled all over the surface of your food just before eating it. The Tastants marked “Salty” are sprinkled on all foods that you would typically use salt and pepper or a savory seasoning for meat, fish, pasta, most vegetables and starches. The Tastants marked “Sweet” are sprinkled on sweet foods like fruit, pastries, desserts and cereal. The words “Salty” and “Sweet” do not mean that the actual Tastants contain salt and sugar, or that they will make your food taste salty or sweet – it’s just a way to describe the type of food to use it on.

Sensa can be purchased in savory or salty flavors, like cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch dressing, taco, and Parmesan cheese or as sweet flavors, like cocoa, spearmint, banana strawberry, raspberry, and malt.

Sensa should not be used on liquids or liquid foods like soup or stews.

DIET and EXERCISEDIET and EXERCISE

One of the biggest draws for most people with Sensa will be that you can get results from the product without changing your habits. However, if you want to get results faster it’s advised that you incorporate a sensible diet and exercise regularly. Sensa does work to reduce cravings and make you feel full on less food.

You are encouraged to use Sensa on every meal or snack you eat as well as to keep portions in moderation.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Sensa offers a product that really sounds too good to be true. You sprinkle the Tastants on your food, eat less and lose weight. Most of the bad comments you hear about this product involve the recurring charges on your credit card and being placed into an auto-ship program. If you do decide to try Sensa, remember that your results can be enhanced if you include a sensible diet and start exercising regularly. And check with your doctor first, especially if you take any medications.

Sensa is unlikely to be your magic pill to weight loss, but if it somehow promotes you to eat less and with more mindfulness then perhaps it's worth it.

Wow!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all who came here and posted your nightmares! You have saved me a ton of money and heartache!!! I really appreciate your taking the time to provide feedback. It's the only way consumers can really know about a product.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a 2 month supply. I could pay for the two months after 30 days (a trial) or if I paid upfront they would upgrade the shipping free of charge. The upgraded free of charge shipping is taking a total of 10 days!!!! The regular post office is faster. I emailed customer service about it and never received a response. I think their marketing practices are shady.

Good grief - I've been on diets before and lost weight. I have been on Sensa for 31 days and lost 1 pound - NOT a satisfactory result. Just by counting calories I can lose at least 6 pounds in 31 days on my own. Also, their forums are HEAVILY moderated to the extent of censorship and I don't tolerate that well - also makes me think that only comments that are positive to the product ever make it on their website.

Tried Sensa beginning in Sept. 09.Used faithfully. No results, slightly bad taste; and despite cancellation of account they keep charging my credit card. Can you spell "rip off"?

I read the add. I do not like the way they decieve people thinking it is free when in fact it is not a free trial. I do not like the marketing. Customer service after purchase sounds very bad. Whoever is marketing this, is being untruthful when they say free trial. If they were so convinced of their product, there would be no strings. The product would sell itself. Their add scared me off.

Sensa sends you a 60 day trial for very little money. You have a 30 day trial and 30 days to cancel, if you cancel you must send the package and any of the product back or you will still be billed $89.00. If you pass the 30 day period which you will if you use the full 60 day supply then you will be billed the $89.00. When I canceled my account they offered 30% off then when I said no they offered another chance at 50% off. This is a big billing scam, not sure if the product really works because I figured out the money scam and canceled. With this kind of money scam the product has little if any credibility. They lock you in to big bills right off the bat, how can you trust anyone with this kind of marketing tactic. Its your call Good Luck!

My boyfriend and I used this product for 30 days properly. It not only caused horrible heartburn but I also got aggressive migraines frequently while using it! I don't know why but I did. I didn't make the connection at first so I spent a lot of money on doctor visits and missed work a lot because they were unbearable and no pain reliever would work to get rid of them. After stopping sensa they have subsided but because of the frequency and intensity of the migraines I ended up losing my job for calling off! Now I have received my last pay check and they took the $89 out of that! After all's said and done me and my boyfriend have GAINED a total of 17lbs. You absolutely can taste it. Some tastes bad some good. Now they say in order to get my money back I have to pay to send the package back and they recommend getting it tracked! I can't even pay my bills now and they want ME to pay send it back! Then I have to wait 14 days, after they receive the package, to receive my money back! What the hell happened to FREE. No folks, it's not a free trial! It' cost me my job, possibly my home, and temporarily my health! DO NOT RISK THIS PRODUCT! It's a SCAM!

I tried the product, and the shakers are too bulky to be carried around in my pockets. As a result, I don't use them often, so I tried today to return it. However, while they claim that "you have a full 30 days to try", they are telling me that they start the clock before you can start trying it. Just from their business practices, I'd say to avoid them.

For the user who posted that they cannot use the product and wants to sell it... Do you still have it?

I think everyone reacts to products differently. However, I have had great results. Since beginning this product, I can only eat half the meals I used to. I find myself wrapping meals and getting to go boxes for what is left where I never had to do that before.

I tried Sensa last year. Didn't work. I will say, however, that I didn't have any problems at all returning it and getting my money back.

I've been using it for a few days. It does help me feel like I'm satisfied and I don't have to go back for seconds.

I think some of you need a lot more than just sensa, like maybe mental help.
