During the detox you are eating every three hours including meals and snacks. There are a variety of foods that are available during this time, and although you are eliminating carbs, you don’t eat as much as you want. Meats are still weight measured and other items counted or measured to teach proper portion sizes. The foods that include fat while on the fast are full fat. The idea is that the full fat content is perfectly fine as long as the fat is natural. A sample menu during a full day of eating is as follows:

  • Breakfast: Cheese Omelet
  • Morning snack: Walnuts
  • Lunch: 2 oz. Grilled Pesto Lamb
  • Afternoon snack: Blueberries in Cream
  • Dinner: Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps

Some of the suggested exercises with the Silver Cloud Diet are the things you do on a daily basis anyway, but incorporating more of it for health benefits. After sitting in an office or in front of a computer for eight hours or more, it’s important to get your body moving. Some of the suggested methods of exercise include:

  • 15 minutes of brisk walking to get your heart rate up
  • 15 minutes of bike riding to get your heart rate up
  • Park further away from the building you’re going into
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Use 3 pound weights to do lifts and pull ups for 15 minutes
  • Use an exercise rope to do bicep curls or front raises (start out with 10 and work up to 25)

I have been low carbing for a year, 3 years of Paleo before that,
I think this diet is a missing link that I needed! THank you!
I giggled at the uneducated misleading comments of people commenting before me. "fatties missing their pork chops?" FYI - I have never been fat in my life- I just wanted to be a little thinner than my set point weight of 135 ( 5.7, over 40 years old, athlete). Doing keto both for health and weight management! And if my English sounds strange- sorry- it is my 7th language in order of acquisition.

Tried this for a few years a while back. Had a little trouble doing it because I´m addicted to sugar in my coffee. But I still lost weight and I felt so much better. My arthritis improved significantly. I´m going to give it another try for a month. I´m going to use saccharine instead of sugar. I love meat and butter, all full fat foods, so this is right up my alley. Can´t wait to start. I have 85-90 pounds left to lose. My problem is I have high blood insulin levels. I hope this will address that.

Nearly killed me. Thanks to this "diet" my left leg almost got amputated. Only a long juice fasting, followed by a switch to a mostly raw food plant diet saved me. It's all *, one loses some weight on ANY rigorous diet low in calories, but the protein high ones unfortunately ruin your health. If you think it is healthy, then why are there so many - slender, muscular - super-athletes, ultra marathon winners and such, who eat only plants and grains?! As a former runner myself this fella convinced me in no time:
The only argument for high protein, high meat diets, is that a bunch of spoiled rotten fatties miss their pork chops. So someone had to invent a "diet" high in pork chops and bacon, problem solved. They lose some weight, scream hurray, and no one cares if they cannot keep this * up, and die 2 years later.

Just try this "diet" out, you will know what I mean. Acid reflux, and stinky breath and body odor are just the beginning, as longer you keep doing that as worse it gets. The proof is in the pudding as they say, just try it out, you will see it yourself. Nuff said.

Just wondering about the credentials of the reviewer - do you know what you're talking about?

No mention that I could find of who did the review, where they got their training and what they do for a living - are you a shill for this outfit? Need some real information - none was provided.

The diet seems to be a lot like Atkins (that's not a bad thing) - recall seeing somewhere that the doc (well, a D.O.) used to work for Atkins.
