DIET and NUTRITION

Each Body By Vi kit in the challenge includes different elements. Depending on your needs, you will receive a set amount of meal replacement shakes that can be used each day in place of a meal or snacks.

The least expensive is the Balance Kit and includes enough shake mix for 30 servings and five servings of flavor mix-ins. EXERCISE

CONCLUSION

For people willing to go on a shake and supplement plan for weight loss, the Body By Vi Challenge is a feasible diet plan option. And one obvious lure is that participants are offered prizes during the challenge for their performance. But unfortunately, if you want to purchase the products you have to know someone who is a ViSalus distributor. So it's more difficult to sign up for than the average weight loss program.

Visalus's network marketing structure somewhat overshadows the products, from a consumer's perspective. And while there are some testimonials highlighting the product’s effectiveness, nothing seems to really set these items apart.

I am 64 and have done every diet in the world. This is the first program that has worked for me. Down 20 lbs in 30 days. Still eat lots of meat and I still have a dbl shot of whisky per day. I am never hungry and the energy I have after eating the shakes is awesome. VI might not be for eveyone but if you want to learn a new healthier way to eat and live then VI may be for you. I am looking at loosing 60 lbs total and am 1/3 of the way. Never have I had such an easy yet nutritious way to loose weight. I give VI 5 out of 5 stars

I have had the worst experience ever with Vi customer service . At this point your company seems like it is not improving my life and robbing me of 330$

After speaking with your customer service department for well over 30 minutes I was essentially told that I would not be able to receive my money back for products I did not receive. I did not receive any of my orders. Ebony in your customer service department was unwilling to help me, so she escalated it to her supervisor Bob. He was unwilling to help and essentially "schooled" me on how i should have bypassed my sales rep and called them directly.How since I did not respond to any emails (which i did not receive in may,june or july), Vi is keeping my money.When I told him I ddi not receive emails from back in june, he kept reading the same thing over and over again as if i was being dishonest. I do not like this behavior. .Bob was apathetic to what I was expressing . When i explained that my case did not fall under the guidelines of your return policy which is here. :

"Body By Vi Product Return Policy
Body By Vi stands behind all of its product offerings and will accept a return of products that are not to our customer’s satisfaction including products which the customer cannot utilize due to medical reasons using the following.
Guidelines:
1. Exchanges for the same product will be made for products that may have been damaged in transit.
2. Products which have been purchased for the first time and don’t meet our customer’s satisfaction can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less shipping and handling.
3. Returns of all other product must be made within 30 days of delivery of product orders in order to receive a refund for the value of the saleable product returned.
4. Returns of all sellable products made more than 30 days from the delivery date will be eligible for product credit towards other Body By Vi products and are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
5. Packages returned due to unsuccessful deliveries (i.e. 3 delivery attempts, customer moved, customer gave Incorrect or incomplete address) may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges to have the product resent.
6. Commissions of any type that are paid to Promoters on products that are ultimately returned to Body By Vi for Refund will be deducted from future commission payments."

He said that my case fell under guideline number 3. However, guideline number 3 states that you have 30 days from it being delivered .It was never delivered. There were no notices left . I wanted the products because they work for my friends, but now I just want whats owed to me so that I can stop talking about vi and move on.

After Bob , I spoke with Elena Bozinosk who said that what Bob said stands, as he is the supervisor. When questioned about which of the return guidelines my case fell under she threw in a new rule. She said that the emails stated that had 15 days to respond. I looked at the email i DID receive august 4th and it never said that. I asked Elena to forward the emails to me and magically it was there in bold letters. this is what was received in august: "Dear Valued Customer,
We recently received your order # back at our office for a return. Orders that are returned back without a pre-authorization number will not be processed until you contact our office and provide further information as to why the package was returned. If you have an active monthly auto shipment, it will be canceled. The refund policy below provides further details. You may contact us at 1-877-847-2587.
Thank you and have a wonderful day"

This is what Elena says was sent :"Dear Valued Customer,
We recently received your order # 21594716 back at our warehouse. Orders that are returned back without a pre-authorization number will not be refunded until you contact our office and provide further information as to why the package was returned. You must contact us within 15 business days from date of this email. If you have an active monthly auto shipment, it will be canceled. The refund policy has been provided below for your convenience.

I have the email to prove that at this point the agent was being deceptive. Before I begin legal action I would like someone who cares about the customer to please respond and reach out to me. I am sure Vi has changed many peoples lives for the better and I do not want my experience to tarnish their. However, I cannot let this go and will be very vocal in all of my social media about this situation. my order number is 21594716 .

Didn't find I lost weight with this product unfortunately, in fact I actually felt ill whilst I was using it so stopped. Had contact with the company and they were absolutely awful. No Customer care whatsoever. Would not recommend, mostly due to the horrendous after care 'lack' of service

I want to give a fair review as I have used the Body by Vi shakes and participated in the 90 challenge.
For the record, my first order did come from a distributor. After that however, I was able to find the EXACT same shakes on Amazon for the same price and just order what I wanted without having to do the monthly subscription lure.
My first 45 days i was discouraged as I only lost 7 pounds, but once i surpassed the 60 day mark I had lost an additional 10 pounds, and another 10 pounds shed from days 60-90. Overall I lost 27 pounds, felt better energy wise, and looked more toned. I only worked out once a week as I was going to school and working two jobs at the time. However, the body by vi plan does not require you to exercise while taking the shakes. After the 90 days ended I decided to stop taking the shakes, but weaned myself off of them. I did this by reducing shake intake to once a day and eating a relatively healthy meal for lunch and dinner. After two weeks I stopped the shakes altogether. I maintained the weight loss and did NOT gain it back until I started eating unhealthy almost every day.
I am actually starting these shakes again next week to get back to my ideal weight.

rajimus123 brings up some very legitimate points. If you look at the national facts on the shake there are a lot of concerns, I would even say some products could be bad for you and have a long term negative effect on your health. And Jesse, if you're trying to make a rebuttal to rajimus123 and Gerry comments, saying: "lol you look like a fool," isn't a legitimate argument. I'm not even sure why you brought up the Mary Kay company. And in regards to the shakes having less than 1g of sugar WOULD be a good thing IF they didn't replace it with artificial flavoring and sweeteners which in the end isn't much better than sugar. Not to mention they want to the replace two meals with the shakes and to refrain from eating for long periods of time which will: drop your blood sugar and prevent your body from using fat for energy. Then will cause your body to revert to using muscle for energy which will slow down your metabolism. This muscle loss in turn will cause your body to store more fat in the long term. If I were you I would seriously research this product and company (Not from there website, because lets be honest, they could say it makes you fly if it get you to invest) before dedicating any time and money into this.

I would seriously avoid this diet. it's the typical snake oil salesman selling a dubious panacea to a gullible market. You will lose weight drinking body by vi crap for at least the first 60 days due to the reduced calorie intake. After that point, you are definitely going to start packing it on. You're body converts the unnecessary sugars into fat, which you keep adding because you're body is going into starvation mode from a lack of nutrients. There is actually more vitamins in a Wal-Mart brand Daily than there is in the Vi shakes. Soy protein is probably one of the WORST proteins you can consume for weight loss. About the only thing really of benefit in this article to losing weight is increase activity and change diet, which would work with or without the shakes.

I'm on the Body by Vi 90 Day challenge. I've lost over 18 lbs in under 5 weeks. Having used many similar products I was skeptical. The other products were good though they didn't taste as good & I didn't get nearly the support I have with this. My wife is losing just under a pound a day for the past 10-12 days.
We like it alot and decided to be distributors.
Something that I haven't seen mentioned is that CUSTOMERS get their product for FREE by referring just 3 other customers. Nobody else does that!

Something that is misleading about the CONS listed above is that it's not an additional cost to the grocery store bill. It costs less than 2 dollars per meal, including tax and shipping. Even at the grocery store you're not going to spend less than $2/meal.
You also DON'T have to know a distributor to purchase products. If you know a distributor or a CUSTOMER you can buy the product by ordering the product on-line or by phone.
The skepticism about the marketing plan is nearly universal with the quality weight loss products, including many others reviewed on Diets in Review but that wasn't mentioned in those reviews.

I've been using the shakes for about 3 months now and I've lost 15 pounds with almost no exercise. I'm very pleased with the results of this program because it's something that I actually stuck with. All the other things I've tried I haven't been able to stick to beyond a month at the most. The shakes are incredible on their own but the brilliance is that I get to mix just about anything in them! I love to put in unsweetened cocoa powder or strawberries. The combination of peanut butter and a little of the unsweetened cocoa powder makes it taste just like a peanut butter cup!!! It never gets old because there is so much variety.

The only product I used was the shake mix. I ate sensible snacks and a sensible dinner and the weight just started coming off.

For those concerned about the so called network marketing "scheme" as this website calls it, don't be! Many many very reputable companies use a network marketing plan to promote their products. Visalus is a very reputable company with a reputable product. The company is very transparent.

I started with the Body By Vi Challenge over a year ago. I went from a size 20 to a size 12 in my first 90 days!! (without exercise...knee injury) Ran a half marathon for my second 90 day challenge and have maintained my weight within a few lbs all this time. My goal now is to lose another 30 lbs or get to a single digit size (whichever comes first!)

First off�?�I am NOT a distributer only a customer. I am doing the Shape Kit with 2 meals replaced a day with shakes PLUS the Slim awake metabolism boost pills (aka happy pills). It's going well lost 3 lbs. in the first week with limited exercise of walking every day. The shakes have good recipes but taste good on their own (takes like cake batter ice cream with vanilla soy milk and crushed ice). Still get to eat a healthy dinner (chicken, fish, veggie, brown rice) and healthy snacks in morning and afternoon. (raw almonds, apple, banana, 1oz piece of cheddar, string cheese). I would recommend it. I will say that I saw the promotional video and thought it was a total marketing scam but talked to my brother in law who is a distributer and told him to give it to me straight. He�??s on day 48 and lost 26 lbs. and several inches. So I tried it and loving it so far.
