The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet by Robb Wolf and Dr. Loren Cordain is an extension of Cordain's The Paleo Diet, an eating lifestyle plan that involves eating the foods our hunters and gatherers ancestors survived on. The Paleo Solution has a more lifestyle-focus to it and provides you with the information and tools you need to lose weight, get fit, and reverse disease in 30 days.

The plan is a call-out to return to the plant-based and unprocessed diet of the Paleolithic period. The theory with this way of eating is that this was the diet that our early evolving human bodies were adapted to and therefore it is the style of eating that is optimal for our health in order to live long and stay lean and healthy.

This is a great lifestyle, and Robb explains the science behind it very well. It really helps with both physical and mental health, is very sustainable, gives big weight loss, and is pretty much the ONLY thing I've ever tried that worked. It's amazing.

I've struggled with my weight for about the past 15 years, yo-yo'ing all over the place. This book, and the whole Paleo lifestyle quite literally saved my life. My weight was at 279, my blood pressure was at 148/96, my colesterol was high. I still have a long way to go, but in just 6 months I've lost 40 lbs, my blood pressure is down to 114/78, my colesterol is great (with good cholesterol high, and "bad" colesterol low), and for the first time in, well, about 15 years, I actually feel good, and look healthy.

I have been 100lbs overweight for 25 years- with high blood pressure,very high Cholesterol/triglicerydes, sleep apnea/severe snoring and on the verge of diabetes- as well as facing knees and hips replacements. I started the paleo diet 9 months ago- within days I felt like a new man. Today- I have lost 80lbs- blood work is PERFECT (Dr. is astounded) - sleep apnea and snoring have vanished and I wake up at 5am everyday for the most gratifying part of my day with a 4 mile walk in under i hour! My knees and hips are PAIN FREE!! The proof is in the results.

I've been on the Paleo diet for going on six months now. I've lost weight, I no longer have the carb highs and lows...

Going into my second week I've lost 12 lbs and have also lost that tired and hungry feeling after eating a diet consisting of too many carbs. The meal suggestions leave me very satisfiled. Have recommended the Paleo Solution to 4 friends so far.

I'm currently on week 2 and I'm feeling more energy than I have in the last 10 years. I work out 6 out of 7 days, high intensity/low intensity combo, and I consume aroun 1200 calories a day. It's hard at first but I'm getting the hang of it.

I love the Paleo way of eating I have been eating this way since 6/2010 and have been able to stop all diabetic medication and my energy is through the roof not to mention the 8 inches I have lost in my midsection. Robb Wolf ROCKS check out his podcast!!
