DIET and NUTRITION
ZEN is all about portion control and taking the effort out of weight loss for its customers. You don’t have to worry about counting calories or keeping track of anything, you simply eat. There are different programs you can choose from based on your preferences. Each day you will receive food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snack. The foods you receive are made from fresh and healthy ingredients. The menus change seasonally and you will get different items each week for variety. A typical day of eating might consist of:
Breakfast – Scrambled eggs and turkey bacon breakfast burrito
Lunch – Healthy shrimp Caesar
Snack – Mini pear and raw almonds
Dinner – Baked turkey with cornmeal stuffing, cranberries and low fat gravy
Dessert – Chocolate covered strawberries
EXERCISE
There appears to be no exercise involved with ZEN Foods as it is based on meal delivery and weight loss through portion controlled eating.
CONCLUSION
If you can afford to have fresh meals delivered to your door each day, ZEN Foods can be a great help in weight loss. You don’t have to worry about cooking or measuring your portion sizes because they do all the work for you. Customers of ZEN Foods are able to lose weight with zero effort. Of course losing weight this way does come at a price. The company only delivers to certain areas in California and having these prepared meals delivered to you can be expensive. If you don’t mind the hefty price tag, ZEN Foods can help you reach your weight loss goals and teach you how to eat healthy meals that are the proper portion size. You eat several meals throughout the day and many of their customers have been very pleased with their weight loss results.
I have been researching companies that offer pre-made meals, and I was considering ZEN foods, but I've been reading too many reviews that indicate the customer service is poor. So, I am no longer considering this company.

Plus and minus.
I thought the food was pretty good.
The customer service was not. No follow up as they said theyd do after I started. When I pay 50+ dollars/day for a plan, I expect a call or an email when they said I would. Same with my key. I had to keep following up with my counselor, she didnt call me on her own. I cancelled as I would have liked customer service to be more involved.
I highly recommend this diet. The food is delicious and fresh. It seems easy to lose the weight. I am always excited to see what is on my menu for the next day! Plus, their customer service is amazing. I am sold and would love to try their family dinner options once I lose the weight.

Sorry, wrote a bad review because first day containers were labeled with food I had asked not to be given. When opened the company had substituted for foods I had said were ok. I'm willing to try this now!

I signed up for Zen with high hopes. I just got my first delivery and two out of the three things I said I disliked were two out of the three meals. What part of never eats pork didn't they get? Also, none of the meals could be eaten cold and I thought this was something you could keep in your car and eat without cooking. If day two is as bad as day one I am getting a refund.

I have lost over 50 lbs and I've gotten my life back! The people that do the customer service couldn't be more caring and having tried almost every diet delivery company in Los Angeles, this is the first one that actually has great food!

Not happy, they said if I left my current service they would give me a week free. What good is free if the food is awful. Bland and some things were wet or soggy. Not good.
