What is the youngest age to safely use the 17 day diet?

My question is about the 17 Day Diet. I am interested but not sure if it safe for children. How old should you be to safely go on this diet?

Gwen, my daguther is 13 and she is doing the diet with more success than me. Its healthy. Our doctor was fine with it and her self esteem is giong up nicely. She is 60 pounds overweight and has already lost 5 pounds. Better results so far than me! and we are only on day four! I would say talk with your doctor first, but consider its all healthy eating and you can never go wrong with that! good luck! Renay.
