Chili Rubbed Pork Chops

These savory chops are delicious grilled, too.

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbs. chili powder
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 (5 ounce - 1/2-inch thick) lean, boneless pork chops
  • 1 pound green snap beans, steamed
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler and coat broiler pan with cooking spray
  2. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, sugar, cumin and garlic powder
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce and stir until paste forms
  4. Rub paste onto both sides of each pork chop
  5. Place on prepared pan
  6. Broil 4 minutes on each side until inside is no longer pink
  7. Steam the string beans
  8. Serve chops with string beans drizzled with fresh lemon juice

Fantastic recipe, very easy to make with ingredients you already have at home. I cooked it on the George Forman grill, and everyone loved it. It's definitely a keeper!
