Cole Slaw

Nothing goes better with barbecue!

Ingredients

  • 1 TBS finely chopped onion
  • 1 TBS low fat mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS apple cider or white wine vinegar
  • 2 c. finely shredded cabbage, green or purple or a combination of the two
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix dressing ingredients and toss with cabbage
  2. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds (or wheat germ)
  3. For an added health benefit, add shredded carrot and shredded broccoli stem
