Hawaiian Pork Chops

Say aloha to these pineapple-topped chops

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 4 (1/2 inch) pork chops
  • 1- 8 oz. can pineapple slices
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Drain and reserve juice from canned pineapple
  2. Place pork chops on baking dish that is lightly sprayed with cooking spray
  3. Mix 2 Tbs. of the reserved pineapple juice with brown sugar and nutmeg
  4. Spoon half of the mixture over the pork chops
  5. Top with pineapple slices and spoon remaining mixture over the pineapple
  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F
  7. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer, occasionally spooning sauce over chops
