Rocky Road Brownies

You'll want to sink your teeth into this gooey chocolate favorite.

  • 4 egg whites, whipped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbs. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme


  1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees F
  2. Prepare a 9 x 13-inch pan with cooking spray and flour
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine baking powder, cocoa, salt and flour
  4. In another mixing bowl, combine egg whites, sugar, vanilla extract and marshmallow creme
  5. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients
  6. Bake for 18 minutes

This is a great recipe! My mom and I needed a sweet treat... and this was perfect! We modified the recipe a bit... we used Splenda instead of sugar and we used Dark cocoa. We made it in a 8x8 pan. We cooked it for 22 minutes... which next time we will set the timer for 15 minutes and check it after that. It was cooked... just a little too long. Now we just need to find a healthy "frosting" for the top of it! YUM!
