In this video, Dr. Mike addresses questions about water and the 17 Day Diet. Hydration is extremely important both for weight loss and your overall health. Adding lemon to your water is great way to boost your metabolism and get some extra vitamin C, however is absolutely necessary. Dr. Mike recommends drinking six to eight glasses of water per day, which can reduce headaches, cramps and even feelings of fatigue. Also, remember that if you drink caffeine or alcohol, you should compensate by adding additional water. It's OK to add in other flavors to your water, as long as these substances do not add any additional sugars or carbohydrates to your beverage.
