Black Bean and Sweet Potato Burgers recipe

Learn how to make this healthy and yummy new twist on a burger

Watch how tasty this burger is made from black beans and sweet potato. This is a great vegan alternative to a beef patty that you can make at home. Both sweet potatoes and black beans are high in fiber.

You will need:
- 2 cans of black beans, prepared with kombu
- 1 large sweet potato
- 1/4 cup of onions
- 1/2 quick-cooking oats
- 1 table spoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 fresh grated ginger or ginger powder

The oven should be heated to 350 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with grapeseed oil. Then, place 1/4-cup patties on to the sheet. Cook each side 8-10 minutes.

What are the directions? I cannot get the video to play and the recipe doesn't give directions :( Can anyone that has made these post directions (esp the sweet potato, is it baked and mashed, grated...) Thanks!

How to cook Black bean and sweet potato burgers? Hi, watching the video on making black bean and sweet potato burgers, but the video ends. Do you bake the burgers tracee mentions having a preheated oven, but doesn't tell you what to do next. do I bake the burgers and for how long? thanks
