Ken Andrews' Biggest Loser Elimination Interview

Hear from Ken in our exclusive follow-up interview.

For Ken Andrews, a contestant on Biggest Loser season 11, joining the show was "like winning the lottery." He was thrilled with the opportunity and gave his time on the ranch, 16 weeks, all he had.

In that time, he had a lot of personal growth, as well as tremendous weight loss, 134 pounds during his time on the show. He shared that personal growth with his son and teammate, Austin. He was incredibly reliant on Austin physically 16 weks ago, today, he says they have an "extremely healthy" relationship that's also more independent.

He opens up about the confrontation with trainer Cara, and says it wasn't the only one. Ken referred to multiple incidents with Cara, that began in week three, but called it "healthy conflict." The two remain close; in fact, he said she'll be visiting his home for dinner soon.

Finally, Ken broaches the subject of Biggest Loser week 17, in which one contestant will leave the ranch in an unprecedented way. "I think it's one of the most dramatic moments of any Biggest Loser of any time, anywhere," comments Ken. "What I do hope is that the drama and that one decision does not take away from what Biggest Loser 11 has been throughout the season."
