To lose weight, Valerie emphasizes the importance of having a diet plan. She recommends making a total commitment to a diet regime. Valerie also recommends always eating a healthy breakfast (Starbucks doesn't count!) and gives several easy examples. Lastly, she talks about planning ahead for your day and keeping healthy things on hand. Doing a "kitchen purge" and getting rid of unhealthy stuff can be a great way to avoid binging when you're too hungry.
